That is great u are considering it. I personally would not do it within the first few weeks, but I have had c-sections with all 3 babies..... HOWEVER I did go just this past January and Ds was only 2 mths. He did awesome! I had more issues with the 7yr old then him!

Just remember to go at your own and babies pace, take breaks when u need him and if u have a wrap or sling, it does help keep them closer to u and people tend to not touch them as much.

The only comment I ever got was actually from a older CM who said oh he is so cute, how old then proceded to tell me I should be at home with my feet up and in bed!!!LOL I think she was kidding but to this day not to sure!!!

I don't care if he is THE SURGEON GENERAL. I am a mother, grandmother and a nurse. It is an awful idea to take a newborn to WDW. I wonder if some people has the sense the LORD gave them.

Some people don't have the sense or compassion that god promised a billy goat. I don't care if you are a mother, grandmother and nurse....you are wrong. There have been many families that have taken their new members and have had beautiful memories afterwards.

I think the issue is the OP was asking about just mother and baby. A family situation is very different. To take a baby to WDW by oneself would be quite a dilemma the way I see it. This is not a family making memories. It is a person with a baby who would not be able to do much at all. The baby will have no memories and wont even know what is going on around it. I think the best thing to do is to wait until the baby is about a year old to go. At least they will have some understanding of the place. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
