Nobody around here gets how excited I am to unveil our disney trip to our 2 kids on my sons bday tomorrow. I'm doing a scavenger hunt. It will b so fun since I kept telling them i wish we could go to disney but we cant afford it this year and they have been so good about understanding that. I knew ths would be the one place that people would get my excitement so thanks for lettting me do the happy dance:woohoo:! :goodvibes:wizard:

I totally get it! lol... I surprised my 5 year old son the day before Halloween with a trip there. He had no idea and even when we told him, I don't think he quite "got" it until we were actually THERE. Then he thanked me and thanked me for being the best mom ever. Enjoy! Surprises are the best!

How fun. I wish I could do a "surprise" like that. We have always said that we would, but can never keep it a secret. Plus, our kids are so spoiled by how many times we have gone, I dont think they get as excited to go as WE do!!! So maybe someone should surprise ME!!!

I cant believe I kept it in this long! But we are not waiting till last min. Since we are not going till 3/29 that gives us enough time to let them in on the planning and enjoy the anticipation which to me is just as much fun as surprising. Just a few more hrs clues and gifts are hidden & ready to go its just a matter of waiting for everyone to be home. Yay!

How fun! And I completely understand your excitement!

We are surprising our kiddos the day before we leave, but we always talk about putting money in the Disney jar so we can go when we have enough money.

Yesterday, my DD said "I think we should go to WDW when I am 10 and my brother is 8. We should have enough money by then.":rotfl: Little does she know we will be leaving in less than 3 months.

I totally get it! I hope they love it. Enjoy your trip.

We surprised our granddaughters in Jan. We had to cancel a trip last summer that they knew about so this time we didn't tell them until the day we were leaving. It was so hard keeping the surprise but it was so worth it to see them so excited!

That is so awesome! I know I couldn't keep it a secret like that!

I get your excitment!! and love your surprise too!! Only 85 more days for us (been counting down since 289). Our daughter knows we are going to Disney for her bday, 1st communion & it's also our first Disney family vacation (we live by the beach so my dh's theory is everyday is a vacation, his theory not mine lol). We are also surprising our daughter by leaving on her actual bday, she thinks we leave the day after. Can't wait to wake her up in the morning and instead of "time to get up for school", I get to say "wake up, we're going to Disney today!!!!" Have a great trip!!!!
