This was the first DIS Meet for both Poohshoney and myself and a great meet it was. I have so many pictures that it is going to be a hard task to sort through them all to post here, so I will start with the participants, Poohshoney, my DH and DS and myself, (we met Pooshoney's DH on our last night in town, but sadly we have no pictures to share of Roland.)
Here we are up at the Heidelberg Castle with the city in the background. Carol is on the left and I am on the right.
DH, Tim, DS, Tyler and myself.
Now that we have photo's of the participants, I will start from the beginning. Carol was kind enough to find us a really nice guest haus to stay in while we visited and I am so glad we did because the place was beautiful. It was a former tobacco barn that was converted into a quaint bed and breakfast, the whole place had a warm and homey feel to it. We could not have chose a better place to stay if we did it ourselves.

DS in the lobby area.
This is a few views of our room.
Here are a few pictures from the village where we stayed and where Carol lives. Keep in mind with all of these pictures, the weather was not very favorable, but I think they came out okay just the same.
The next post will include pictures from our days in Mannheim and Heidelberg and I also have a few pictures of the snow we saw in Switzerland.
