Hi!

I live in Connecticut (USA) & plan on visiting England, France, & Euro Disney in the summer. I am a constant planner & I was wondering if anyone could point me in some direction. I've looked at travel books.

Thanks you!
Geri

Hi Geri!

How long are you planning to spend over this side of the Atlantic and do you know whether you want to do much touring or do you ideas of places you want to visit and then stay in for days at a time?

There are hoards of travel books for England & France (well, in British book shops anyway!), but I reckon your best source of information would be to come here to the UK Dis and ask away with specific questions and for ideas!!

The easiest way to get from London to Disneyland Paris is to go by train. The EuroStar service goes from the centre of London literally to the main gates of DLP. It's a 3 hour journey time, and is pretty much stress free. In the summer the service is daily, departing London at approximately 9.30am www.eurostar.com for more details.

Disneyland Paris' summer opening hours (9am to 11pm for the Disneyland Park and 9-8 for the Walt Disney Studios) begin on 5th July 2003, and run through until 31 August. If you can time your visit for that period you will see the parks at their best. If I can I try to have a midweek visit during the summer: you avoid the worst of Le Weekend crowds, but still have the long opening hours.

A useful site for info about the park is http://www.dlp-guidebook.de/index_e.htm

Please feel free to ask questions here, as a few of us are DLP regulars.

Regards

Rob
