I'm sure people are floating away but no one wants to share recent experiences?

To me, these are the best way to keep tabs on multiple hulls at one time. Especially to keep an eye on trends in service, conditions, etc. Besides, they're good mood lifters while waiting for our next sailing.

Facebook pages set up for specific sailings seem to be the hot spot. But Instagram is also big.

I think it's because so many people post videos on YouTube instead of writing and photos. We used to spend a lot of time reading trip reports, but now we spend way more time watching YouTube.
I still enjoy a good written trip report, but agree that tehy're fewer and further between lately.
