I know it has been a while since I have posted so I thought a trip report would be the best way to jump back in. I guess this is more of a "trip through life" report. So here it goes...

Well, I had written the next installment and it double posted. When I went in and edited the 2nd post, it replaced the 1st. Sorry.

Waiting patiently.

Sorry, I had written posted the next installment and when I was attempting the 3rd entry, the computer locked up and I ended up erasing both. I will re-post after work this evening.

Just as a teaser, the next two titles are:

"You really CAN buy anything at Wal-mart"
and
"One week later..."

Sorry for the delay but I will now try again.

Let's travel back in time to Spring Break. I think I have mentioned that we live a couple of miles off of I-95 in South Carolina. At our exit is a Wal-mart and we got in the habit of driving by to see how many overnighters there were in the parking lot as Spring Break approached. If anyone is interested, the record is 27. Well, one Saturday night after Easter, my 16 year old niece and I ran out to Wal-mart to pick up a few things. No sooner had we arrived than I had to call back home and let them know we had broken down in the Wal-mart parking lot. My older sister had everyone load up to come and help us out. As they pulled up behind us where we were parked near the garden shop, a guy stepped out of a nearby motorhome. As my mom (fellow traveler and Disney nut) stepped out of the car, the motorhome guy pulled out a sign: "Welcome to your new motorhome!"

The guy is a friend of mine who mentioned that he was upgrading from his Class C to a Class A. As we talked, I realized his "old" motorhome was exactly what we had started to dream of for our next camper. Once he found out from the dealer what they were really offering him in trade (a somewhat disappointing surprise for him), we made the deal. We, and the bank of course, are now the owners of a 2006 Chateau 31'.

And that leads up to "One week later..."
