We arrived at the airport in plenty of time for our nonstop Airtran flight. We hadn't prepurchased seats and there were none together. I figured someone would move when we got on the plane. The flight was full so there was no room for our oversized carryons and they had to be gate checked. :confused3Despite my scene and yelling nobody would move for our family to sit together. The flight attendents claimed they couldn't make people move.:confused3 My kids just played their video games on high with no head phones and got up and down and lot. I don't know why people were mad.

We arrived at MCO. My hubby went to get the rental car while I checked in at ME. We used them for the luggage service since we didn't want to wait. I don't understand why more people don't do this.

We got to the Poly and checked in after waiting in line. I had requested a longhouse and it wasn't available. It was 10 AM and I don't know why our room wasn't ready. I yelled and screamed and finally we got a free upgrade MK view Concierge level! What a view. I did demand towel animals daily.

Our friends who were at Fort Wilderness campground in their tent came over to Hawaii and ate the food with us. They also swam in the pool- it was great for them and us since we only paid for a garden view regular room. They got the benefits of free food, the volcano pool and we also gave them our old refillable mugs from last years trip to use so they didn't have to buy them. Since we were upgraded for free we didn't need them.

We had a package and included the tickets for all except 3 1/2 year old Susie. We told her to tell everyone she was under 3 so we didn't have to pay. The CM's asked her age a couple of times but we got by...just said she was big for her age. This also worked well eating out...just let her eat off our plates! Hope we can get by for 1 more trip!!

We arrived at MK with the kids- it was later in the day and also the day of MVMCP. We didn't purchase tickets for that but it was wonderful. No one ever checked our wrist bands ...we saw the parade, fireworks and rode all the rides for free!

Next day went to MK again. My kids aren't good at walking all day so we rented a double stroller for the---the baby sat on the lap of one of the older kids. They also don't wait in line well so hubby would sit with them and I would wait in line for the rides. When I was near the front I would call him on his cell and they would push past people and join me. I don't know why people don't do this more often. The kids are only 3 1/2, 12 and 13! We also learned the single rider line works well....we all got in line on those rides since it is shorter...then throw a fit when they tell us we can't ride together...in the end we all get together.:)

For the parade we arrived at the last minute and stood in front of the people who I guess had been there for an hour. I don't know why they got mad when I said my kids couldn't see. The CM didn't even make us move. It was great ...we were able to ride several rides while these people sat on the curb with their 3 and 2 year old! I said my kids were too little to sit that long, had to go potty, needed a snack, etc. We did this at Fantasmic, Illimunations and all the shows! Wonderful!!

I don't understand ADR...why do I need them when I go to Disney. Also, the fastpasses. My hubby would run and shove and push people down at DHS to get them for TSM. Once we even told a CM we put our KTW in and didn't get a FP. They gave us another set even tho we had just gotten one.

We did this every day...the stroller is also great for pushing into people and getting around. Next time we might rent a scooter and let the kids ride those instead. If we couldn't remember where we put it we just took another double stroller.

What a great trip!

Just kidding of course:rolleyes:

Ha ha ha! :rotfl:As I started reading this, I first thought, what an awful family. Then as a read more, I was thinking there is a lesson this person is trying to teach and doing a good job at it.

I'm glad you were just kidding, but I'm sure there are people out there that actually act like that and think they are normal.

Happy Holidays!

I too thought you were serious! This is too funny!:rotfl: :rotfl:
From reading some of the posts lately it looks like some people really think this is ok.

Holy crap! As i kept reading I was thinking this woman is b****!

Glad this is just a joke.

Excellent post, and very funny. It's a shame that there are actually people like this with no manners. We went to WDW for the first time in August and we had an incident with someone.

My dd(10) was knocked over by a guy that was every bit over 6'1" and at least 230 pounds because he was running to get a view for a parade. My daughter skinned her elbow and was in tears. The guy gets up looks at my daughter and says "get the **ck out of the way kid". I almost lost it. He did leave and I wasn't about to stoop to his level. One good thing about it all was a cm saw this and came up to my daughter. Went to a quick aid station put a little Neosporin on it and gave her a couple of pins for her lanyard.

We were there last week and you described so many of the people that were there with me!!!! You nailed it !!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

haha I'm so glad you were joking. I hadn't read much when I had started to formulate my reply!!!!!! I bet there are some genuine trip reports that could be written like this though!

As I was reading I was feeling the heat from the flames that were coming.:rotfl:

Oh yeah! I forgot to say we took flash pictures in Haunted Mansion and video taped Pirates. I tried to take pictures in Bugs Life but those didn't turn out.

Yes, I am joking thru all of this. I just thought of the things that cause issues when posted and went with it. Thought it would bring some year end humor to the board.

If you have other bad behaviors that we can all learn from, please do post!:lmao:

This was very funny, but on a serious note, I can't believe we need another negative thread on the boards - there are too many going now.

I thought the holidays were a time to reflect on the positive things in life.

OMG! :lmao:

I started to freak out then I caught on.

A few more tips for next time that you may want to do -

*use your kids as a battering ram when getting on the monorail or buses. They are able to squeeze through tight spaces and then scream and yell when you get separated from them that you have to get on that monorail or bus. (true story)

*claim it is their birthday, your anniversary or other celebration at every meal

*for the best photo-ops remember those railings? They are there for your kids to stand on or climb over and keep others away while you take your pictures. :rotfl:
