With all the talk about Walmart, Target and K-Mart, I decided to check out Aldi.
I went to the one not far from my office
It was very clean.
They do not accept checks, but do take cards, but my bank is
not in their system all I had was 5 bucks on me.
I bought some of their yogurt it was 33 cents, I pay 38 for Walmarts brand. I actually like the Aldi brand better, creamier.
I bought a Mexican tv dinner, it was 88 cents, at Walmart it is 1 dollar.
The cashier was very friendly.
There were no runaway carts to damage Pearl. Their property is sloped and
if I park in the northeast corner it is uphill and there is virtually
no way Pear can get hit.
So, I am going to keep a notebook of things I buy there/Walmart and compare.
