Trip report: Wild Adventures in Valdosta, GA

Thanks for the detailed report on Wild Adventures Barry. We have seen the billboards a million times on our drives to Orlando and Tampa and have always talked about stopping. I don't know if we will ever take the time to do it though. It sounds like it might be a great park for our kids (ages 9 and 7). Maybe on our trip to Universal this summer we can work it in. We took the kids to a little park in Chattanooga last summer and the kids loved it. Have you ever heard of Lake Winnepesaukah (Lake Winnie)? When I say small park, I mean it's small. They only have two coasters, a rough mouse ride and a wooden coaster. It was a fun day especially for the kids. I remember they had the ferris wheel listed under "thrill rides" on their website. LOL It was pretty much a permanent carnival but the wooden coaster which we rode continuously gave us enough airtime that it was worth the cost of admission.

Thanks again for the detailed report. Someday we might make it to Wild Adventure but it's hard to stop there when you have IOA awaiting you in Orlando.

I've heard of Lake Winnie. In fact, I was considering visiting there this summer. It's on the way to Pigeon Forge, TN and Atlanta, GA.

You can do Wild Adventures in a few hours, IMHO. You might need a full day to ride everything, though.
