Hi, my first trip report here so bare with me.... my husband and I... both in our young 50's and this is our 6th trip since 1995 childless.
We just got back from 10 days with Mickey....Sept. 27th thru Oct. 6th
stayed over in macon Ga. until Jeane passed over Flordia, unfortunately we had to drive through it on Monday morn.
Not to bad lots of rain but made it okay.
Check in at Pop Century was a long wait...I thought no one would be there???
Come to find out most were Flordians staying after their homes were being worked on.
Tuesday: Mickey called to wake us up . Took the bus to MGM for early entry and rode and watched some shows.
we headed for the bus and Epcot. Rode test track and did a few other things. Had lunch at the Garden grill with Mickey and friends. Lots of fun and great food!
Took the monorail over the magic Kingdom and rode a few things there.
Got a good spot for Spectro and fireworks.
This was our first time to see the new wishes fireworks and I must say we were very impressed. I just love them and now they are second on my favorite fireworks list.
Bus back to Pop and went for a swim.
Wednesday: shopping and pool time.
Thursday: Good morning to Mickey again.
Bus to Magic Kingdom and rode a lot more.
Most rides were a walk on until around noon so we caught the bus to MGM. Rode a few rides and caught Fantasmic....I have to say I can never get enough of this show!
Back to the bus and on to Pop.
Friday: Rested during the day and then took the bus over to Magic Kingdom for Mickeys halloween party.
I wore my orange jack-o-lantern shirt and bat ears because it was so hot.
This was our first party and we had a blast!
Walk on the rides, costumes were great and the candy....wow do they ever give out the candy. We hit the large size snicker bars several times.
Rode riverboat cruise and did haunted house.
Watched the parade which was very cute.
The fireworks were impressive also, loved the witch flying down.
We were totally wiped out and barely made it to the bus.
