Thanks for the photos!

Your site looks nice. 1623 is on the inside of the loop- it looks like you had good privacy behind your site, and on both sides.

Was the 1800 loop empty while you were there?

There were only 4 campers on the 1800 loop, and only one on the 1900 loop the whole time we were there. To be honest, it looked like FW was trying to fill loops and get away with fewer staff, much like hotels do.

Photobucket is giving me gas tonight, but I will try to post some more pics.

Monday was Epcot day, my fav. Saw Deb's favorite movie, Capt. EO. I am no MJ fan, but I will admit the guy had some talent and I do like this movie. I remember more lasers, though, and I don't remember the seats bouncing up and down like they do now. Thanks for bringing this one back, Disney.

At 11 moved over to World Showcase since I was hungry and thirsty. No Food and Wine this year, so we made our own. Had nachos at the outdoor food booth at Mexico, sat at the new tables on the lagoon (lagone?). I recommend them - about 8 bucks and big enough for 2. Moved on to Germany and had a Bratwurst on roll with weinkraut. Good stuff. They have a nice Oktoberfest beer, but buy it at Sommerfest not the stand towards the front - for some reason it is 75 cents more there. Had Gelato in Italy. The best icecream on property. Had a Kirin beer in Japan and sat next to this dude covered in Disney tats - even his head. I didn't talk to him, though. He looked kind of spooky and like he would go postal any minute. Guiness at England was good. Seems like I ate something else but for the life of me I can't remember. There's a neat display in Japan of the influence of folklore on Anime. See the pic below.

Rode my bike around the campground later and found Lisa. Bruce was napping (wimp). Later on they come around with their golf cart and chatted. Nice folks. I threw some sort of meat on the grill, ate it, had a Kungaloosh and went to bed. From now on, let it be understood that I drop off the dog in the morning and pick him up at night.

Our camping neighbors were a nice couple from Germany with 3 little boys who looked like the models for Hummel figures. They rented a Class C and had a great time, but mom looked pretty beat by the end of their trip. The kids kept my wife entertained with their antics.

I remember now. I bought moorish coffee at Morocco which was great, but FWGirl couldn't hack it and made the girl give her a big cup, which she put the coffee into along with ice and milk. The girl looked really offended. Oh well, Carol's not very international.

More when photobucket quits kicking me off the internet.

FWG The first EPCOT shot across the water back toward the sphere is

great! Wonderful TR :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Morocco-Schmocco. For that kinda money she should drink it how she likes it. It's not like it's Kona. Sheesh.

Next time they give you attitude, tell 'em "Know your role, and shut your hole".

Soooo jealous - of the Southern Smothered Hot Dog - AND the Outback - I love it! I would really like to have one! One of each...
Looks like you guys had fun. My DH also likes the "do it yourself" Epcot F&W...

Gonna have to try the Morrocan coffee sometime for a mid-day jolt! Sounds just about right.

Reading the TR with interest, we just cancelled our reservations for a 4 day parents only escape weekend planned for November - could not count on someone watching the little ones while we were away. Traded up for a planned 10 day trip with the kids next August though, so we can start day dreaming again.

Like the pictures of the new trailer - did you get it powerwashed while at the site?

:rotfl: This TR is LOL funny!!!!! I give it :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Go Carol. Her money, her vacation, her coffee. She should have it her way. ;)

BTW, BEE--U-TEE-FUL Epcot photos!!!

You've given me some great new things to try next year!

..........:lmao:

Concise and to the point.

I would say you are right-on with that observation. There is no question that the free dining offer has siphoned many guests away from the campground. Apparently, this is OK with Disney, because they don't seem to be making much of an effort to fill the campsites. Such a strange way to run a business.:confused3

Awesome rig and setup. I like the slide out the back. Seems like somebody in engineering was actually paying attention.

I agree, that pic of the Globe across the water is sweet.

Tuesday was AK day. Believe it or not, the animals on the safari were actually too close to get pictures of! We were delayed by a rhino in the road, and he moved minimally. He was so close you could smell his breath, and that wasn't too pleasant (or was that mine?). Here are some pics:

Carol does not like the way these guys smell:

Lunch at Flametree. This was our first bad counter service experience. Large numbers of workers behind the counter, no clear direction, running about wildly. Saw them set drinks in front of me I didn't order, then throw them out, watched my chicken begin to decompose under the heat lamps, saw many others get their orders before me even though they ordered after me, snagged a manager and complained, got my order with no apology. Chicken was good, though. Still one of the better deals at AK. Dry rub Barbque so not a lot of mess. Wish I had some now.

Went back to the camper, rode my bike, grilled some stuff and ate it, had a Kungaloosh and went to bed.

Nope, but I made a cool discovery. Disney provides a convenient green hose at each site that can be there for no other reason than to wash trailers and tow vehicles! I always have my brush and squegee with the extendable handle to brush leaves off the slide out roof, so I just used that to clean off the love bugs. I was thirsty, too, so I took a drink from it. Nothing like water from a rubber hose!

FWG-

I am really enjoying your TR! :thumbsup2

Your photos are great!

And the captions are hilarious! I love the dog photo.

Funny stuff.

I also LOL'd about your drink from the green hose. :rotfl2:

One drink from that green hose and you'll be running to stall #2 for a kungaWHOOSH!
