I've finally gotten some time after returning from our trip and a long Thanksgiving holiday....So....

I plan to start posting my report from our trip 11/17-23. Some highlights to look forward to:

Rose & Crown for Illuminations
our first visit to O'hana...including multiple tropical beverages
Osborn Lights!!!!
my attempt to drink myself 'around the World'
Raglan Road
many, many character encounters

Oh, and I took about 850 pictures, so I'm sure you'll get to see a few of those, too!

Tuesday 11/15...I drive to work just like any other day, except that today I'm headed to Orlando for a three day class being held at the Sheraton World Resort. Not much work got done on this morning at the office, so I finally gave up and headed to the house to pick up my bags and run by my wife's school to give her one last "goodbye" before having my Dad drop me at the airport.

Check-in on Southwest was smooth because I already had my "A" boarding pass in hand. My flight from Houston was non-stop and was very empty by most standards...I even had a WHOLE ROW to myself. Arrived at MCO and by the time I made it to baggage claim our flight was already circulating!! YAY, first good sign. Got my Alamo rental car and made my way to the Sheraton World...check-in was smooth until I opened the door to my room and tripped over someone else's bags!!! Thank goodness they weren't there, or this "Disney Trip" might have gotten off to a very NON-DISNEY start!! LOL..... Finally got my room situation ironed out, grabbed some "grub and booze" (acknowledgemen to Vettechick for the term!!, but it will be a recurring theme !) at the hotel bar/lounge/restaurant and hit the sack!

Part 2 will skip ahead to Thursday 11/17 where I pick up the family at MCO and deposit them at the lovely BWV....yes we will actually make it to Disney and have some Disney oriented material/pictures later in this report!!!
