Trip Report Pet Peev!!!

You guys are so funny! I do think the vividly written TRs of the last few months have upped the ante. I can remember writing one for another site years ago that was basically a list. Now I'm telling people what I wore on a certain day.

It is way more time consuming to write it all up than I realized. But it's awfully fun, too, and lets you prolong your trip somewhat. It'll be great for the scrapbook.

I'm trying to update mine every day (or two!) and if anyone reads it, great. If they don't, fine (well, I would like a few readers). My DH really likes it, and I make fun of him!

I write mine for my enjoyment, and I don't care how many, or how few readers I have. I mean, great if there are people who like it, but I don't mind if I have no views.

I started one for my Dec trip, which is right now all pre-trip planning obviously, but ran out of things to write, so, on the same post, changed the name to my report collection, where I am write now writing one from my trip when I was 13, then I'll write one from my trip when I was 15, the add my solo trip to that post, and then continue with my Dec trip after getting home.

As far as people who think it's crazy to post reports months after getting home, well, obviously I don't agree with that, since my this one is going to be about my 1998 trip. But, I did uncover my journals from back then, (this is making me feel old,) and am using them as a guide, as well as my memory.

I have no idea what I did yesterday, but I remember my trips to WDW very well.

Let me be another one who defends writing these reports months after the trip.

Instead of doing exactly what the OP wrote about, I am s-l-o-w-l-y compiling my trip report in Word, day by day. It takes a lot of time to not only write the durn thing, but to go back and make sure it's well written. Editing your own report takes time because you need to step back and take a fresh look at it.

Unfortunately, the longer it takes to write it, the more details you forget. Good thing I took lots of notes!
