After a much needed good nights sleep, I was like an excited child again. The previous day's annoyances out of the way and we decided to go to breakfast. We had VIP breakfast tickets for the Sequoia Lodge and were told that we would not have to wait at all. The trouble was, about 100 people were also told the same thing and the ruck outside of the 2 restaurants was unbelieveable. Needless to say, we didn't bother.

Fantasyland breakfast beckoned instead, so we walked through an exceptionally foggy Disney Village towards the park. We got into the park at 0820 after waiting at the gates since 0755. The park wasnt ready to open at 0800, but when we got in, we went straight to fantasyland. Somehow, we managed to be the first people into the restaurant and as such, did not have to run round looking for a table which was a blessing.

plan of action for the day slowly formed and we decided that we would go on a few rides in fantasyland (including Peter Pans flight before it got too busy), and then we would go to the Studio's for 0950 to try and beat the queues for Crush's Coaster. No such Luck!!

The queue for the ride was at 60 minutes when I joined it at just after 1000. Couldn't believe it, but we waited. It is a really good ride and the coaster section is brilliant, but I wouldn't wait for an hour again to go on it (so I thought at the time). More on that later.

As we were in the studio's we went on the Magic Carpets and the RnR Coaster (which I love:love:). We then went back to the Magic Kingdom.

Pirates of the Carribean was our first stop, and as we went round, we decided that we would go to Casey's for lunch after riding Casey Jr and the boat ride next to Casey Jr (Cant remember how to spell it;) )

Casey's food was really nice and we were able to watch the Characters Express go past as well which was a bonus.
We heard rumours that there were some characters hanging out over near Phantom Manor, so we went there to hunt autographs, but couldn't get close due to the amount of kids pushing each other out of the way and backing the characters into a corner.

Phantom Manor is always good for a laugh though and we decided to go there due to lack of queue for it. We rode pretty much everything else in the park and were relieved that the service was much better than the day before. My faith was starting to be repaid :)

We took our seats by the princess stage for the Parade about 1515. We had some really good seats and one of the CM's was going round and keeping everyone entertained. The parade was awesome and much better than the Villans and Princess Parades that we had seen the year before. The Pink Witch in the Pumpkin commented on my wife's large pointy pink hat as well :cool2:

After the parade, we decided to go and hurt ourselves on SM once more, before heading back to the hotel to get ready for a night out.

After 5 hours of my wife choosing what to wear (ok, it might have only been half and hour, but its felt like forever:lmao: ), we went to the Redwood Bar and Lounge and had a couple of drinks. I was very impressed with their service and they allowed my wife to have a cocktail that wasn't on the menu. She told them what was in it and they made the best damn cocktail I've ever had ;)

And so to Buffalo Bills for the last of the days entertainment. The food was pretty rough, but the pre-show entertainment and general atmosphere throughout the show was brilliant. Im glad that I've been, but I dont think that I would go again (at least not without eating first)

We went to bed at the end of day 2 in a much better mood than the first night and decided that we would get into the park for about 0915 the following morning to have breakfast and hunt for autographs.

Day 3 to follow shortly :thumbsup2

I am glad your second day was better than the first one but why oh why can't men understand the importance of getting dressed properly???????????

really enjoyed your review - can't wait to see the parade - only 2 and a bit days to go...

Am glad today went much smoother! What was bad about the food at Buffalo Bill's? What do they serve?

Just thought that I would put day's 1 and 2 on the front page for you all to read
