Day 2 March 22nd
On Monday we got up in time to get to Magic Kingdom before it opened. We were so excited to see the train come out with the characters. Stephanie got an autograph book Sunday night at the hotel....so we were intent on getting autographs!!!!
Anyways, we went straight to Adventureland. We got a fastpass for Jungle Cruise b/c it did not open until 10. Then we rode The Magic Carpets twice. It was cute!! We got on Pirates afterwards. There was no wait!!!! After that we got on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad(again no wait!!!!) We didn't do Splash mountain b/c it was quite chilly that morning. Then we did the Haunted Mansion (no wait). The man hanging from the ceiling was a bit frightening. The ride got stuck for just a minute while we were on it. That was not a fun place to be stuck at!!! Later we got a FP for Peter Pan. Then we went back to jungle cruise and got right on it. When we got off we got our pics made with The Genie, Jasmine, and Jafar. We then went back to Peter Pan but it was broke...so we did Snow White's Scary Adventure (no wait) and then Peter Pan was fixed so we rode that. We also had our pics made with Mr. Penguin from Mary poppins!! We then FP winnie the pooh and while we waited we went to mickey and minnie's house..which was very cute. We got our pics made with Mickey..then we went back to winnie the pooh.
By that time we were hungry and it was about 12:00 so we rode the monorail to epcot. We ate in Mexico. It was beautiful inside. The food was ok...but i was not too impressed. We also rode the boat in mexico which was very relaxing. Then we FP Maelstrom and we watched an acrobats show at China. We all got umbrellas with our names in Chinese put on them!!! Then we went back to Maelstrom and rode it...it was fun (the bear was scary!!!)
Then we went to Honey I Shrunk the Audience and Imagination with Figment. We also shopped awhile in mousegear. We did a lot of looking around and then we got a Beavertail (a pastry) in Canada. It was SOOOO good!!!! It also got very windy and cold so i opted to get a sweatshirt (38 dollars) but it was worth it!!!
We shopped awhile in canada . I bought some chocolate in the UK and Japan. We all bought candy in Italy and Japan. Then we got ready to watch Illuminations. The crowd was very skimpy that night...probably because it was sooooo cold!!! The fireworks were good...but they were my least favorite of all.
