Found this link to Hawaii public schools. Look like they get out just befor Memorial Day weekend (and our arrival, UGH). https://www.hawaiipublicschools.org/DOE Forms/2015-16 School Calendar.pdf

My quick look at California schools looks like they end around 6/8-6/9 this year. Hopefully that means most of our trip is before California gets out at least. We can only hope for the best!
