Here comes the last part:
Day 3
We got up very early because we had breakfast time for 7.45 which we hoped would be less crowded. But somehow we were so slowly with getting showered and packing our stuff we arrived at breakfast at 8.15 where it was even more crowded than the day before. After getting our coffeine-level high enough to function like human beings
we loaded the car, dropped our keycards at the reception (very easy check-out that way) and drove to the parking lot but of course not without going the wrong way first to Disney village parking which is not free
So long story short we entered Disneyland again at 10.30. Our plan was to watch Tarzan and go on everyones favourite attractions again before shopping and getting on the way home early evening.
To make things easier we decided to get fastpasses for Buzz and BTMRR, so our first walk was to Buzz where we got fastpasses and decided to get in line with 25 minutes waiting time, because the queue always seems to move fast and we always had shorter waits than the times announced.
Next was getting fastpasses for BTMRR, first time ever to have to stand in line just to get them, I wonder how many people travel together as a family? There was a man in front of me that got 8 fastpasses and later realized he even forgot one!
My must-do for the day was POTC, where we unfortunately didn`t get to see Cpt. Jack Sparrow
( but then again maybe it`s better that way, there`s only one Johnny, sigh
) and we had the first row which was nice for the last turn on this trip.
Now it was time to return to Frontierland for Tarzan, where we immediately got seated. That is such a great show, I like it much better than Lion King. We were all impressed by the artistic elements and the wonderful music.
Now back to BTMRR. We had to wait 2 minutes to be let in the fastpass line and were a little amused by a family who had fastpasses for 4.00 and tried to get on the ride at 1.30.
I`m sure they learn how to read a watch in every school in europe so couldn`t understand why they got upset when the CM refused to let them in
?! A group of british teenage girls had left the regular queue and left BTMRR using the fastpass line because one of them had fainted in line and the CM was very helpful. No wonder with temperatures like these days it`s hard to breathe in there so best advice is to drink, use fastpasses and drink even more.
And good thing about fastpass: we didn`t have to wait a minute to get on the ride. Afterwards we decided to purchase our photo for 15.
Now we walked back to Buzz had 10 minutes wait with fastpass and were lucky that the vehicles stopped so I got my new record of 250900 points!
I got most of the points while shooting at one of these moveable targets on the right side (I think it was in the first room) but most people kept shooting on targets to the left so I think that target made my score.
We decided to leave the park and visited the studios again. Studio Tram Tour still wasn`t operating so we didn`t get to do it
. We did the RnRC with 10 minutes wait and purchased another on-ride picture. Because we felt hungry we stopped at the Restaurant en coulisse where we all got the 4 fromage salad with fries and a drink, which was ok. The couple didn`t want to risk to ride the RNRC again after lunch
so there were only the 2 of us with no wait on it.
Feeling a little tired again and having feet that hurt we started our shopping tour with looking through the stores at the studios and then the stores on Main Street where we all bought some souvenirs until we sadly said goodbye to the castle and the park and left the reort at 5.30
. 7 hours later I got home and fell asleep as soon as my feet touched my bed
All in all it was a very nice trip though I think we could have started slowier and left more things out to feel more comfortable in the heat. It was a little difficult taking someone without a clue about Disney because she didn`t get that kind of Disney magic. She said she could have missed things out like Fantillusion which really really really shocked me.
I didn`t bother the crowds I think I´m used to them because I always experienced it to be like this at least on one day of my former trips and most of the things we did were short to no wait despite the people and in case they were longer fastpass worked very comfortable. So the only thing that would make me choose another time for a future trip is the weather but then again we`re in europe it could have also been raining the whole time who would have guessed that we would have the summer of the millenium?
OK, now I`m finished with this I need to think about the idea of having a birthday trip to DLRP in december
