We want to request building 85 as standard location, but she was told that is only preferred now,

As you suspected, the CM was wrong. Half of building 85 is Standard Location. Ironically, the same applies to building 90 which they did accept!

Referred to as phone CM roulette. Unfortunately a very common thing to have to do.

Looking at the the TA it was building 80, not 90 they gave us. I'll edit post.
