We had a great trip with wonderful weather. We took the Thalys into Paris and then went to the Louvre as it was already 14:00. We saw hightlight but my son was bored quickly. We went to the park and laid in the grass and relaxed then go on the RER to DLP.
Check in at budget Ibis is simple as is the room. Nothing extra there but we just needed a clean room and hot shower. We went to the mall and had a nice dinner and bought supplies for the next few days. We had cereal, croissants and juice in our room and were out the door to the RER each day by 8:30.
Thank goodness for Salon Mickey. My shareholders card has yet to arrive but they issued a temp in Salon Mickey. It was nice to show our au pair the salon and the extra magic. I desperately needed the coffee, 2 cups each morning and a nice muffin.
We went to the AP office and got my son his GAC for the year which is good. The wait time was high as it seemed they just were not handling customers efficiently but in the end we were set. We had GAC, AP, access ticket for me and it was time to play.
We went to the studios and did all the rides of our interest. I even got to go to the drawing academy and draw tigger. Ratatouille ride is fun but I didn't so feel so good afterwards. Maybe it was that we did crush, rc racer and that all back to back?
The weather was wonderful, warm and a light breeze. I loved it! I did shower every morning and night and use deodorant. I could tell others don't follow my plan for not being stinky.
The next day we did the same with a start in Salon Mickey, there we met Maarten, Great CM who anticipated our needs. He got me the access ticket right there and was wonderful. He was rather sweet on our au pair and encouraged her to audition at DLP!
We did Indiana Jones for the first time as our DS was finally tall enough to ride. Once was enough for me but they went back 2 more times.
The lines were short both days in the parks, temps were great and attitudes were pleasing.
I went to Frozen and my son went back to nap. It was fun but lonely without him with me. Then I went to the parade and got a lot attention from the characters...thank you Maarteen for the magic.
Saturday we went to the tower tour. If you are even thinking about the tower tour I encourage you to do it. Being the only guests in the park is amazing!!!! The information shared and details I had never seen was so worth it. Then there is the private CMs and elevator drop. We loved it and would do it again. It is in French so bring your translator.
The park got very busy as it was Saturday. We did a few our favourites, had a nice lunch and then left to return home.
This was one of the best trips as I am adjusting to DLP as my new home park.
