We just got back today!!! It was truly a MAGICAL vacation!! I will do a full trip report with details over the next few days on this thread.

Day 1
Ok first the Facts:
Arrival date Feb 2,2006 Me,DH,DD14 and DS 17.
Flew from Chicago on Air Tran at 7:45 a.m.(Great Flight)
Arrived on time in Orlando. Found the DME busses easily.
DH got in line and it only took about 15 minutes to check in. Next we waited in line for our bus to All Star Sports about 15 minutes. Arrived at hotel about 12 noon. Checked in and were told we could go ahead to our room that it was ready!! Dropped off our luggage then went to the cafeteria there to eat. Not good! Food was good but service terrible. DH complained to manager and lunch was free!!
Next we headed to MK !!!! Woohoo I think I nearly cried when I went around the hill and saw the Castle for the first time. What a wonderful sight.
The crowds were light so we rode several rides before dinner. Small World was awesome!!
Dinner was Crystal Garden. Yummy!!
Watched fireworks and headed back to hotel for some rest.

Day 2
We woke up and it was pouring down rain. We decided what the heck. Bought $ 7 rain ponchos and headed over to Animal Kingdom. Hardly anyone was there. We ate lunch at the Flame Tree. Very good!! Everest was not open due to rain but we watched all the shows and did all the indoor rides. No lines at all. Headed over to Epcot about 2 pm. Rode Soarin,Mission Space etc. again NO lines. We ate at Coral Reef. Awesome!!

I am also doing a dining report.

I hate to admit it but I love doing WDW in the rain - your first 2 days sound like you are all having a blast - thanks for posting!

Bumping-I hope you come back and finish your report. I think I would take rain, over some of the 90 degrees days in summer.

Thanks for sharing. :) I didn't realize it would be so rainy in Feburary. We have always gone in the summer months, talk about downpours. So I know about the $7.00 ponchos. :umbrella:
Look forward to reading more about your Magical Vacation. :goodvibes
