We just returned on Wednesday from a wonderful no kids trip to my happy place. We arrived on Saturday night at 8:45pm. We got right on a Magical Express bus but sat for 20-30min waiting for more passengers. That was a bit frustrating, but it is free so why complain.

When we arrived at BW, our room was ready. We did check in on line, but really didn't need to. We were the only one checking in at that time of night.

We had our OL brought up and then headed down the the Boardwalk to get a bight to eat at ESPN, we had hoped to catch the end of the Ohio State game but it was over by the time we got there.

Service was o.k., our waiter was more interested in shooting the breeze with another table, even going as far as to put up his foot on a chair and continue their conversation, while we hadn't even been welcomed or asked our drink order. When he did come over after about 10min. the drinks and burger we ordered as good.

Sunday morning we had an ADR at Koozzina's for breakfast. I was excited they kept the press pot from the Spoodles menu. My DH has the blueberry, granola, orange pancakes and I had the Koozzina breakfast which included poached eaggs, sweet potato hash, olive toast, asparagus spread and chicken sausage. It was amazing and full of flavor. I would go there again.

We then walked over the bridge and into the International Gateway to Epcot to begin our day there.

Our 1st stop was Soaring, we got our fastpasses and then waited for my sister and brother-in-law to arrive so they could get their fastpasses. The one thing that surprised me was the line for Living with the land it was enormous. I had never even in Aug. seen that line so long. We didn't wait for it because we had done it just last year and done the tour.

We had no ADR's for this day because our plan was to drink and eat around the world. After getting our fastpasses we headed over to Test Track and the wait was 20min, so we got in the stand-by line and it only took 10min to get in the pre-show room. We then headed to Misson Space and we did the green version(still too much breakfast in my stomach to do the orange version). I have done both versions now and have to say I enjoy the green version so much more. It is way less harsh on my stomach. Well my kids want some breakfast I will continue this a bit later.

If you have any questions let me know. This was the 2nd F & W we have done.

Thanks for the report. Where was your room located and was it renovated? Did you see any sections that they were working on?

Our room number was 4081 we overlooked the front driveway, but had some very mature trees blocking the entry. I enjoyed sitting on our balcony and we could see the high fireworks from Epcot. We had a value studio and I don't think it was renovated. The area I saw getting worked on was facing the clown slide. They had scaffolding up above the gym and arcade.

We will be in EPCOT next week, and all I can think about is the F&W Fest. This will be our 4th or 5th time - I have always enjoyed spending time their during the event.

What a blast!!!

Have a great time, we wished we would have spent two days, really enjoying the festival, rather then 1 day. The great thing is there is always next year!!! We are already planning on going back next year.

After doing Misson Space we decided to do Ellen's Energy Show, this is a great ride if it is hot and you need to sit down for a while and take a nap. It is cool inside and most of the attraction is sitting down in large moving cars kind of like The Great Movie Ride in HS. It does have some funny moments and I am a former teacher so I enjoy Bill Nye.

We then headed to the Coke Cooling station and tried a few of the different cokes. Some are just nasty but everyone enjoyed the one from Germany.

By this time it was time for our Soaring fastpasses, I absolutely love this ride. It is my favorite in Epcot. I think the stand by line was 50min. The line for Living with the Land ride still had a huge line so we decided again to skip it.

It was time to head into the World Showcase, and start our Tour around the World!!!

We started by going to the left towards Canada, we came down the path from Soaring so we started our tour with Greece. We ordered the Chicken Souvalakie and Baklava. I think hands down it was our favorite taste of the day.

More later, time to get the kids on the bus. We sampled lots of wine, so I will start there when I return.

Enjoying your TR so far....we went to F&W 2 years ago, but a Tropical Storm came through on our Epcot day & forced me to take our then-3-month old back to the hotel room. It was just torrentially raining all day. My DH and DD stayed and ate around the world though. I can't wait to try it again! Can't wait to hear what other samplings you enjoyed!

Can't wait to hear more!! :) We are arriving in five days for ten days of Food & Wine Festival fun. :cloud9:

Oh, can't wait to hear more as i just got home. We went to F & W on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed it and the concert was a real treat. We didn't get to stay to long there as my youngest(7) put his head on my shoulders and started to fall asleep so we had to keep moving. lol

Love to see pics! Sounds like a great time.!!
