Today was our day for Animal Kingdom. We arrived for EE and headed straight for the Safari. We saw lots of animals. An ostrich almost came for a ride with us. He was walking next to our jeep and practically stuck his head in to see what was going on.

SAw the Lion King Show and met characters. I got my picture with Lilo and Stitch!:bounce:

The kids loved playing in the Boneyard. They didn't want to leave that area. Rode Primevil Whirl and Triceratops Spin. Kids were scared on Dinosaur. When we looked at our picture, you couldn't even see two of the kids. They were hiding next to us so close they were hidden from view.

We used the Vacation Kingdom lunch vouchers at Rainforest Cafe. Great Deal! The adults all had the surf and turf and the kids ate dinosaur nuggets. Using the vouchers, we saved over $100. Granted, if I didn't have the vouchers I probably wouldn't have ordered what we did, but it was nice to splurge!

After AK we drove over to Disneyquest. I hadn't been there before. I'm definitely foing back. I'm an arcade junkie and this place was heaven. I could probably stay there from open to close and not even know how the time went by. Oh yeah, the kids loved it there too.
We played so many games, from the old time arcade games to the new interactive ones, to the things you design yourself. Definitely a place not be missed if you like playing games.

When we finally forced ourselves to leave, it was time to go back to the resort to do the laundry and pack the suitcases. Our last night had arrived.

Sounds like your family had a great relaxing time :p Going home is always hard. I've never tried Disneyquest but have heard some pretty neat things and will certainly try it out next trip. Too funny with the Ostrich. Our last trip we had a rhino. NO joke, we were in the last seat and the rhino stood next to our bus then moved directly behind it. Some of the people began to freak out as the rhino was within reaching distance and had apparently had a nose job as you see a number of stitches in his snout (or maybe he was protecting his territory by fighting another rhino - who knows). Close up and personal can sometimes be very true. Glad to hear that everyone had a great time.

Wonderful trip report ~ Thanx for sharing.
