We woke up bright and early and (after following advice on this forum) ignored our 9.15 breakfast slot and headed down to the Chuck Wagon for 7.30- it was no problem at all and the restaurant was half empty! (so thanks for the tip guys!)
Everything was so easy- breakfast quick, Pluto waiting for a photo in the hotel reception and the shuttle bus arriving as we reached the stand. We were in the park for EMH by about 8.30 ish.
What a feeling walking down an empty Main Street!
We headed straight to the Buzz ride in Discoveryland and walked straight on. They allowed all 3 of us in one car so DH and DS blasted away and I "drove" great fun and we did the ride again straight after (seems to be a habit with us!) then Orbitron (you guessed it -twice!) Buzz again (lol)
We decided to head to The Studio for opening and made our way straight to the Cars ride. It was the longest queue of the whole holiday- well over half an hour! DH kept insisting it wasn't worth waiting for but when we finally had our go it was fun (though the only ride DS didn't want to do twice!). This was followed by Flying carpets (short line) and the wonderful Animagique- what a great show DS wanted it to go on for longer! On leaving we waited to see Sulley and then on to the Rendez-vous-des stars buffet which we enjoyed. By now it was raining quite a bit so we took shelter at the back of 'the Art of Animation' where we found a lot of interactive things to keep DS amused until the Cinema Parade. Although it was really very wet we had all the waterproofs on and soon forgot about the weather as Donald and friends paraded past us. Then it was a dash to the shops for some retail therapy! (got a beautiful book of Disney bedtime stories).
Back to the Park, and the rest of the afternoon we mainly spent doing all the "dry" attractions in Fantasyland- The Castle and Dungeon, Snow White, Pinocchio, Tea Cups, Lancelot and it's a small world (which was enchanting). The rain eased off a little so we managed to slip in a quick Casey Junior (most of the carriages have roofs!). Afterwards we got the steam train from Fantasyland Station and did the circuit of the park-and then got off at Discoveryland and did Buzz again!
We rounded off the day with the 6.30 Wild West show- Yee Haa! Great family entertainment- I couldn't believe how into it my DS got and spent the rest of the night answering 1000 "why" questions about Cowboys and Indians!
So that was Day Two (sorry I did go on a bit!) yes it rained, but did it spoit it? Not at all- but then you knew that already didn't you?!

In spite of the weather you had a great day.
Good to hear that your DS loved the Buffalo Bill show :goodvibes

So that was Day Two (sorry I did go on a bit!)

Don't worry about going on too long, TR's are never too long when they are interesting and filled with info, which yours was. Bring on more.
