I read these boards all the time but make very few posts. These boards are great for WDW tips and information. I wanted to write a short trip report commenting on my family's trip from 11/1-11/12 2006. My wife and I who are 37 and 2 daughters 3 and 5.
Resorts:
Coronado Springs from 11/1-11/6: (Ranchos)
PROS: Beautiful resort, nice pool areas, good service from the cast members,
good bus service, nice rooms in great condition.
CONS: This is a convention resort and it shows. The place was filled with convention people and they basically took over the front of the resort (food courts and restaurant). At times the resort did not feel like it was for people on vacation. This is just my opinion but I don't want to see people with their business stuff while I'm on vacation. I've stayed at all the moderates and I prefer them all over this one. Also, the food court is poor, the prices reflect the soaking they want to give the convention people as they are spending other people's money. Example: Cheesburger at CSR 8.25, POR 5.89.
