Trip report Christmas week

Just returned from a few days at RPR. Arrived on Tuesday afternoon, Dec 28. Check in was efficient and bell boy was enthusiastic and helpful. Went to IOA first, with the FOTL we hit all the major rides in just a few hours. Had dinner at Mythos and rode again. The following day the parks were crowded but with FOTL we never waited more than just a couple minutes. For example, Shrek was posted with a 120 minute wait-ours was 5 minutes. Hulk said 90 minutes-ours was 3 or 4. Dueling Dragons said 75 minutes, we walked on the Ice side. Had a lunch at Emeril's. Impecible service and food! Desserts were killers!!! Our longest wait was 10 minutes the third time we rode Spiderman. I highly recommend staying on site for the FOTL. The extra $100 or so over an off site hotel is well justified by the nearly immediate access to every ride. We didn't feel the need to get up at the crack of dawn or to rush to anything. The only bad part was that it left more time for my wife and daughter to shop. Ouch!
