I just returned home from our second trip home. We own at the BCV and stayed there the first time. This time we stayed at the BWV. I hate to say it but we all enjoyed the BWV much better than the BCV mostly because of community hall and the closeness to the BW. Also, because the BWV are so much larger, it gave us a feeling better services.
Now the trip report:
The MS guy was not very nice (no welcome home) but he gave a room at 9 AM. How hard is it to say Welcome Home. We stayed in a 1 BR, standard view (Room 3115). He said the all rooms facing the 2 pools are preferred view. Is that true? We got a view of the parking lot but it had a great view of the fireworks. We brought my 16 and 15 year old nephews who drove us non-stop in the parks. The parks were packed, with an hour wait for many attractions. The room was great almost no defects and very clean. Everyone else in the hotel was just great. One of our favorite things about DVC is the valet parking. What a relief after a long trip or a tiring day at the parks.
We pool hopped to SAB and did not get caught. That pool is great. We actually had such a great time we added on 100 points at SSR (we now have 250).
I cant believe how nice the community hall was. The people were so happy and nice. We played with games and rented lots of movies. I truly love DVC and cant wait to use it more. The parks were packed with an hour wait for many attractions. Spring break and all. I think Disney is really starting to rake in some money. Best places that I ate at were BAC, ESPN, The castle for Lunch and Japans Tepinyaki. I was a little disappointed with Cape Mays, it is just not as good as Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary. The BWV has ample magic, lots of chairs with pretty views, close to the heart of the parks, a great pool, a beautiful Boardwalk and gorgeous rooms. I am very jealous of all of you BWV owners.
