Hi all from the land of "Magic",
I am going to try to do a couple of short trip reports on our vacation as we go along. A little information first. Our group includes me 39, DH 41(Rich), DD 13(Brittany), DD 7(Alyssa), and DD's friend 15(Lauren). We started off our vacation in Destin, FL for 2 days to visit my grandmother. We had a good time there, but couldn't swim in the Gulf to much because the rip tide was really bad.
Monday
We arrived at WDW in the afternoon and checked into the BWV. We have a 2 bdrm (4108 & 4110) over looking the quite pool, which is just what I asked for. The rooms are in good shape with just a little wear and tear. The only problems we had were with the room keys. When we checked in all the keys would open 4110 and not 4108. Went back to the front desk and they rekeyed them so they worked on both doors. The next day, out of the blue, 3 keys would work on 4108 only and 2 keys would work on 4110 only. They finally had a manager come up and reprogram the doors. We went to dinner at Boma's and it was really good.
Tuesday
The two teenagers were up early to go to surfing lessons at TL. Alyssa and I met them there when it opened and unfortunetly we got rained out by 11:30. We decided to catch Finding Nemo that afternoon and it was a good movie. We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and Prince Charming. Had a great time and a good dinner.
Wednesday
We were up early again this morning to go to CRT. This was the first time we have eaten there and it was really special. We spent the day at MK and saw the Dreams Come True parade. As we were leaving after the parade it started to pour. It rained all afternoon and we were not sure if we were going to be able to go back to the park, but it stopped around 8pm so we headed back in to catch Spetormagic and fireworks. The rained held off and both were really nice. We had a great view as Tinkerbell flew off the castle.
Thursday
Today we had breakfast at Chef Mickeys. The girls had shirts done at DTD and we had the characters sign the back of them. Today is a down day so we are going back to DTD and then come back and swim in the pool (if it doesn't rain). DH flies in tonight, so it will be nice to have him here.
I will try to post again in a couple of days. We are having lots of fun and look forward to the days to come.
