Monday-Day 1-April 30-Up at 3am to fly out of Kansas City, MO. Everything went very smooth and before we knew it we were in Orlando and checking into ME. Things couldn't have gone any smoother on arrival, but I will get to check out later. We arrived at Fort Wilderness campgrounds around 1pm, had to wait quite a while to get checked in as there were only 2 employees working and one was straightening brochures while we stood there in a line of about 5 guests. Anyway, we didn't let that get us down, I mean, we WERE at Disney. Our cabin was ready and the took us there right away. We got our cabin on the loop we requested, cabin 2503, it was very nice and despite the fact that we only had one bathroom, we all did quite well getting up and around in the mornings. We were right next to the smaller pool and laundry facilities. We got our golf cart, which I think is an absolute MUST if you are staying at the campgrounds, it made getting around soooo nice. We dropped our carry on bags off at the cabin, and off we went. Boat ride to MK!

We made it to MK. The 1st thing we did was get the parents a 1st time button. They were really cute. We of course stopped a minute to take in main street, and then we were off to HM, where we walked right on. Same with POC, & BTMR. There was quite a line at SM so we skipped it because we were coming back on Thursday. Then we went up to Main Street and waited for Spectro Magic and Wishes. We sat next to the Walt Disney & Mickey Statue and waited for a bit. We used our snack credits and got gianormous cinnamon rolls at the MS bakery for breakfast the next day. We really couldn't see Spectro that well, but it was good enough, but wishes was fabulous!! We had a great shot of tink, but the castle did block the view of some of the fireworks. But it was magical!!! Left after wishes and boat ride back to FW were we found all of our luggage waiting...whew.

Day 2- May 1
EMH AM at Epcot. We got there a little after 8am and walked right on to Soarin, TT, Mission Space and the Nemo ride. Stopped for lunch at Sonshine, it was ok, not the best I have had. And then we went off to the Worlds. We had a lot of fun with the masks and the passports for the kids. We left at about 4pm to get to our 5pm ressies at Chef Mickey's for dinner. Made it there fine in a very short time and it was wonderful. We saw, Pluto, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald. All of the characters came by and the food was really good. Then back to Epcot for Illuminations. We were able to hop onto Spaceship Earth when we got back before we staked out our spot for Ill. We found a nice little bench in Canada and sat there while we waited. Illuminations was wonderful and we were back at the cabin by 10:30 or so.

Day 3-May 2
8am ressies for O'Hana. Took boat to Contempary and then the Monorail to Poly. Got there a little bit early and only had to wait a few minutes. The food was incredible and the juice they had was delicious. (I am diabetic so I could only take a couple of sips.) They took great care of us, gave us refills when we asked, except I asked for more of the pineapple bread and our waitress forgot to bring it. There characters were great, we saw stitch, lilo, pluto and mickey. My son had a pluto pen and pluto went nuts when he saw it. He started jumping up and down it was really cute. We did not feel rushed at all and left after the parade.
Next we went to DTD and went shopping for a bit and headed over to Disney Quest. This is when the day started going down hill. My Dad, who had ridden several rides with no adverse affects became very sick while we were at Quest. He started sweating buckets, felt like he could swallow and was very weak. He has a history of low blood sugar, so we went to get something to eat. He still didn't feel better, so my mom found a CM and they brought the medical team right away. They checked him out and told him it was extreme motion sickness and it would take a while for him to get over it. Whew..we were just thankful that it wasn't something more serious. So we got out of there and went to AK. They had PM EMH that night and it was really nice. Walked right on to Safari, Everest and Dinosaur. Then as we were leaving, someone cut my mom off, which happened often this trip, and she stumbled on an incline around a tree and fell. She landed on her right side and hit her head, but suprisingly, the worst injury was her toes. We think she may have broken her big toe. So with that we called it a night and closed the book on our worst day of the week.

Ok...I have to stop here to vent for a second...what is with people just cutting you off and being rude???? I don't know how many times I was walking holding my daughters hand and people would walk right through our group and try to walk right between me and my daughter while I was holding her hand. Or...after you have waited for an hour to see a show, only to have several people try to just squeeze into your spot at the very last second. I actually had a woman set on my foot at MK for wishes. Ok, enough of that...more happy thoughts.....

Day 4-Thursday May 3-
The most magical day of the trip. Did I get a "dream", no, but it felt like we did. We had 8am ressies for CRT and we were the 1st ones to check in. My DD was dresses as Snow White and was beautiful. She was chosen to be the Princess of the Day. They announced her as they were opening the restuarant and she got to spend some extra time with Cinderella in the picture line. After they announced her she along with her royal family led the processional up to the dining area and we got to sit at a special table. They gave her a Magical Memory certificate and all of the princesses signed it along with her autograph book. The food was fabulous!!! The blueberry french toast with the cream cheese in it was to die for and everything else came out nice and hot. My husband did ask for a soda and never got it, but, again, everything else out weighed that. OH, we saw, of course, Cinderella, Snow White, Auroura, Belle (in her blue dress) and the Fairy Godmother. By the time we got out the park had opened and there were all kinds of school groups there and it was HOT, HOT, HOT and busy. By 10am I would say it was close to 90. We rode Peter Pan and the train and did some shopping and decided to go back to the cabin to freshen up before our 2:40 ressies at Whispering Canyon. That was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. It was so much fun...our waiter Mat was a blast. All of the food was great and the desserts were awesome. Our original plan was to go back to MK to ride the rides during Spectro Magic, but we were all so worn out that we went back to the cabin to rest instead. So, no splash mountain, no space mountain, no Buzz...but we were happy with what we did ride.

Day 5-May 5th
We took a break from the disney Magic and took public transportation to Sea World. My mom had always dreamed of going, but never thought she would, and led them to believe that since we did not have a car that we would not be able to go and they didn't find out until we turned off and they saw the sign. It was a great surprise. We had a great day even though the temps where in the mid 90's and we just about cooked on the bleachers of the shows. We left there at about 6 and came back to the world and went to MGM to see Fantasmic. We almost didn't go because everyone was so worn out from the heat, but we went and we were so glad we did. We had never seen it before and it was fantastic. We went back happy and packed so we could check out, check our luggage and get our boarding passes. We left our carryons at the resort and got ready to hop a bus to MGM to ride some rides and see some shows. Fort Wilderness has 2 bus stops and we were at the wrong one for MGM, but didn't realize it for 30 minutes when we finally asked a very rude bus driver if he knew when it would be coming and he made me feel like a complete °O°°O°°O°°O°°O°. We took a bus to the other stop and made our way to MGM for our last day. I walked right on to TOT and backlot where my husband was picked to play a part in the pearl harbor sceen. And we watched Indiana Jones, ate at the Back Lot Express and we left to come home. We got to the Magical
Express Pick up at out resort 45 minutes before our scheduled pick up and they picked us up about 15-20 minutes late. We sat in the front and could hear the drivers radio and there were many resorts that were like 45 minutes late being picked up. It was a complete mad house. We made it to our gate about 10 minutes before they started boarding.

A few honorable mentions....Sylvia was an incredible bus driver that we had going back to Epcot on Day 2. She was so funny!! We laughed all the way there. Isabel our mousekeeper did a fabulous job. We left our cabin in quite the mess one morning and when we got back she had cleaned everything up and left us a slew of towel animals. And everyday after that we had amazing towel animals. Mat our waiter at Whispering Canyon was so much fun and took the stress off of everything after our bad day and made us laugh again. And again, all of you, thank you for making this an unforgettable trip. I can't wait to start planning again :goodvibes
