Ok...
DBF and I were at WDW from 9/15- 9/19 and stayed at CBR on Barbados 'island'. It was very close to the Custom's House...but a 5 minute walk to Old Port Royale. We enjoyed the hotel and theme. We loved Magical Express and watched Shrek on the way.
First Day....went to MGM and our tickets did not work because we had rescheduled our trip because of the hurricanes. We went to guest services and they fixed everything and even gave us this pass for having to wait. It was good for being able to walk on one ride: TOT or Rockin' Roller Coaster. But we didn't need to use it because there were literally NO lines in WDW at all!!! Ended up in the MK for dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the GF....the food was great and so were the characters and servers. We ended up riding Space Mountain in the light....wierd, huh? Something was wrong with the ride and they gave us a pass to come back but again did not need it for there were no lines. Did not wait in line for a bus for too long and went back to the hotel.
Second Day...went to EPCOT first to check out our Legacy that we left on our last trip during Thanksgiving. Saw Characters on Holiday and rode all of the essential rides at EPCOT...ate at Electric Umbrella. Again ended up at MK and went to Dinner at Ohana's that night. As always...the restaurant and service was great! We watched Wishes! from the beach at the Poly and the Electrical Water Pageant. After walking around the Poly for a bit...we returned to our hotel.
Third Day...returned to EPCOT to tour the countries and ate at the Lotus Blossom. After enjoying our tour...we headed over to MK to play around some more. We returned to our hotel to get ready for dinner at California Grill. Had an amazing dinner...viewed Wishes! from atop the Contemporary...and went to Downtown Disney to shop!
Magical Express delivered us to the airport in plenty of time. This trip was magical and amazing...not to mention we had free dining. My family and I will be visiting The World this December at the GF and look forward to it!
