Hello,
Travelers: Wife and I (both 36) and 2 daughters ages 2 and 4.

Resort: POR - Beautiful Hotel, Bus service was good with no problems, Food court had decent food, Swam at the main pool several times, the housekeeping lady was so nice, she left towel animals with displays every day. very nice service.

Parks: All were very crowded during our stay except for Mon and Tuesday when it rained a bit. The MK was a crazy on Sat Dec 3rd for the Christmas parade taping. Saw Regis and Kelly. It was really nice to see the Christmas floats out during the day so I got lots of good pictures as the all stopped in front of the castle. The kids loved it. I'm really happy my 4 year old is a rider, she couldn't get enough of Splah Mountain and BTMountain. She even did the haunted mansion. The 2 year old loved everything she went on. Her favorites were small word and the tea cups.
EPCOT is my favorite park. We had some wonderful dinners at the WS restaurants. Germay is just a great place for everyone, my kids danced and had a great time. The beer is good.
Soarin is great attraction.
My wife got a little sick on Mission Space. I thought it was great.
MGM: Everything we saw there was great. Tower of Terror is the best theme park attraction I've every been on.
Animal Kingdom: Very nice park with high quality attractions. We had a really nice day here. The new ride looks very impressive, can't wait to ride this one. The were testing it out and saw a few people riding it, not sure who they were.

FOOD: Never had a bad meal at Disney. Ate at France, Germany, Morroco, 1900 Park Fare Dinner, Hoop Dee Doo, Flame Tree BBQ, Tusker House Breakfast, Columbia House, Cosmic Ray, Beach Club Clam Bake and probably a few I can't remember right now.

Characters: My kids loved them, we got so many pictures

Magical Express: No problems, what a great service.

Sorry to be back home, it's 18 degress.

Disney World is the best! The kids had such a blast.

Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks

A few questions about POR. Where did you stay? Which bus depot did you leave from?
Thanks. Glad you had a great time. We leave in 9 days!!!!

How did your 2 year old do at Hoop Dee Doo? Just curious becuase we are thinking of taking our 2 year old next year. Also how were the decorations at POR? We are trying to decide on a resort for next year, and I want to stay at one that is decorated nice.

So happy that you had a great trip :earboy2:

We were in the Alligator Bayou section building 26. We left most of the time from the South depot which is at the front of the resort. We thought the bus service was very good. The resort has 4 stops plus 1 stop at the French Quarter but about 80 percent of the time in the morning the bus we were on filled up at the south depot and just went right from there to the parks. It seems they deploy busses as needed in the morning. We never waited long. Sometimes you have to stand but the rides are short enough where it's no big deal. During the day the buses start a regular schedule stopping at the French Quarter first then the 4 stops a POR. Going home at night the lines are long but move pretty fast. The one night we left EPCOT, the line was huge but they kept pulling buses up pretty fast. About 25 min wait. Let me know if you have any other questions. Have a great trip!

The Christmas decorations were very nice. The lobby had garland and a large Christmas tree. The food court has no decorations that I remember just stuff in the lobby. Also, maybe a little outside by the marina.
My daughter is 2 1/2 and she loved the show. She did not get any of the jokes but she sat and it kept her attention. She and my 4 year old even took a picture with one of the charaters as they come around to the tables to say hi. She ate plenty of the bread, corn on the cob and the fried chicken. It was a very fun night.

tahnks so much for your report.......sounds like you have some real DISNERS on your hands....
I loved Alligator bayou also .....we were always in bld 14......thanks again

As I said before - just be very glad you were not there on Sunday morning - the 4th - to check out. As I had paid for 4 rooms, I was going thru check out to make sure none of my kids ran up big phone bills (not my kids) - anyway, I stood in line 45 minutes starting at 10:15. The lobby was filled with cheer leaders, practicing to see who could be the loudest and lost luggage and lost babies and lost husbands. It was a scene out of a Universal scary movie. I finally just left and just hope they realize I have checked out.

Wow, doesn't sound good. When I asked the bell services person who helped us Sat morning if the resort was full. His reply was yes and was going to be. All of our phone charges were on the express checkout that was hanging on our door. Did you get one of those?
