Hello all, I've got a split stay trip planned for Sept at Royal Pacific Resort. We will be checking in on a Saturday and checking out the following Monday (2 nights) then heading over to Disney.

I booked the Bed and Breakfast deal, which includes free breakfast buffet at the Islands Dining Room during our stay.

Now my question is, if we arrive before noon (which is when breakfast ends) on Saturday, our check-in day, can we go have breakfast before the rooms have been assigned to us?

Say like if we get there at 10:00 am? Also, what about the day we check-out, would we be able to still have the buffet on that day even thought we will be leaving on this day?

I just want to be sure so we do the right thing. As this is our first time at Universal Studios

Thanks, foots

You may check in as soon as you arrive, receive your room cards and acquire your express passes upon arrival. You can leave your bags an proceed to your park and the hotel will notify you when your room is ready. Check in is usually 4 PM but it may be ready sooner. Ask for a text message.

Island Dining Room opens at 7 am everyday and closes at noon on Saturday/Sunday. All other days at 11 am.

With your dining plan do the buffet or order off the menu

At that price you pay for the 'bed and breakfast' package, don't skip that morning meal!

Once you check in to the hotel, you are good for using that part of your package.
Your hotel account has been set up.

With Islands having an early opening, it still allows you to eat and be at the parks for EE

Do breakfast on your check out day

Ask in advance if that is allowable or if you need to check out after you eat
The charge for breakfast is added to your account but front desk removes it from your tab

No sure how it is set up but know that when I'm at club, I can still use it on my checkout day

I would make sure you call the hotel. It sounds like you are asking if you can get 3 breakfasts on 2 nights of stays (Sat, Sun, and Mon)? I would be cautious. I have not done this at RPR, but it is industry standard that 2 nights stay = 2 breakfast buffets, but hopefully they will allow it. The breakfast buffet is just awesome!!!

I missed that vacaPlanner

I was posting as they would only be doing two breakfast meals in the plan
Check in day and check out day was how I answered

If the op does a 3 rd morning then that would be a separate charge on them

You are correct
The booking for a two night stay only allows the two days of the meals

Ok guys thanks for the info. I asked it like this because we may not get there Saturday before 12 noon, so may miss out on that day. But if we did, would it be possible like I asked. So wanted to know about check-out day too. We may end up just being able to use it for Sunday then. Thanks all

Just knowing how RPR has treated me on past visits, I feel comfortable that RPR would allow you to eat any 2 of the 3 mornings (Sat thru Mon) if you explained the situation. I think the booking itself assumes Saturday and Sunday night stay with Sunday and Monday breakfast.

Since you are heading to Disney on Monday, there is plenty of time to get up and have breakfast knowing that your Disney room will not be ready until afternoon. If you want to leave early for Disney, just have luggage services hold your stuff, hop down the steps, eat real quick, and then head out. It's a buffet, and if you show your vouchers to your waiter, you can easily grab something quick before you head out, its already paid for in the package.

Perfect VacaPlanner2012, we'll check it. Thanks again everyone!
