This really isn't a resort question, but since I spend most of my time here, here goes!! I am a teacher in Nj and the first day back for us is usually meetings all day. We had a motivational speaker right before lunch who was talking about organization and planning and made the comment that most people don't really plan for their life. He asked how many people know what they will be doing in five years, or one year from now. Not many people raised their hands. Then he said "People will plan for a trip to Disney World for over a year, but won't plan their lives that way." Well, duh!!! The funny thing was, all my coworkers turned around a smiled and waved at ME!!! Well, OK, I do tend to run on about Disney. That is why I am so comfortable here!! You are all as crazy as I am about the Mouse!!!

Thanks for listening (or reading as the case may be!!)

Have a good one!

I plan for my life with the same intensity. It drives my family crazy sometimes, but the attention to detail catches a lot of problems before they occur - over charges, mis-information, timing issues, etc. Whether they admit it or not, my family appreciates the attention to detail. When I try to relax and "go with the flow" they get all stressed because I can't tell them what happens next! "Where are we eating?", "What time are we leaving?"... I can't win!?!?!:p

Yes, to many degrees. IMHO I have always looked forward to planning out my vacations whether to WDW or any other place and no matter how many times I have been there. I admit it, I am more of a planner than I am a spontaneous type person. I would rather be informed than ignorant. As to life, well I can't control that roller coasters and most of the time have to go with the flow. The last 3 years in my family have been a constant up and down roller coaster that couldn't be seen as numerous health problems came up. There is no amount of planning in the world that could've helped my family out with the various things that popped up (even if we had millions).

If you like to plan and it brings you enjoyment and helps your family to have a better time, continue to do it. Its your life and do those things that make YOU happy and to heck with everyone else.
