Trip planning... Which day should we do what?

We'll be staying at Paradise Pier from Jan 22-25th. (Me, DW, our daughter who will be 2, and my mom) We are driving down from San Francisco, hopefully hitting the road in the morning of the 22nd (Sunday) and checking into our hotel around 3-4pm? The drive takes us 5 hours or so, but with DD in the car (who is an awful car rider) who knows.

We have 3 day park hoppers, but can only devote 2 full days in the parks- Monday and Tuesday, and a few hours Wednesday morning before we hit the road.

So for trip planning, the things I want a little help with are these... I want to do Minnie & Friends character breakfast hopefully before the park opens, Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness, and WOC. Which day for each? Will getting fast passes for World Of Color be a madhouse at that time of year? We aren't interested in the dining options or lunch boxes.

Thanks in advance!

Are you planning to use your Magic Morning hour? If so that will be Tuesday morning, so you won't want your character meal that day. Also did you book a package through Disney? That's the only way to get the Toontown MM vouchers. MTTMM will be on Monday and Wednesday for your trip.

You'll have absolutely no problem getting WOC passes. A lot has changed since those first months after opening.

We booked though AAA. I was told that included MTTMM. So maybe breakfast Monday morning, then MTTMM after breakfast? Is there time for that? And then the Magic Morning on Tuesday?

It will be slow during your visit. Hours will be short.

You might want to go to the parks on Sunday night to use your third day, it will probably be open until 11pm.

Since the parks will open later probably 10 am you might want to take advantage of the resort guest entrance into DCA through the GCH on Monday. They will let you in at 9:15 or 9:30. You can grab a WoC Show Ticket then for the blue zone(blue Show Tickets may be distributed to 11 or 11:30am during your visit). You could grad Soarin FPs. And maybe ride Little Mermaid. I think the breakfast won't start until 9:40. The problem is this is the only day that MTTMM will take place so you would have to have a late breakfast.

On Tuesday you wouldn't be able to eat until 9:10 and you would be eating the whole time during MM.

I wouldn't worry too much about packing things into the early morning since it's a low crowd period. Though I would prefer to eat some where else. Eat breakfast before the parks open out of the park. And dinner out of the parks after they are closed.
