Hi Everyone! We (DH 41, me 39, DS7 and DS4) will be visiting WDW from May 11-18. This is my third trip to WDW but the first time as the planner and my “boys” first time. We are staying at AS Sports, have the DDP and will the traveling by Magical Express and onsite transportation. This trip is all about the little boys so I have been keeping them in mind while planning. We will be bringing an umbrella stroller for our DS4. This is what I have so far but would love your insights!

Saturday – early arrival – leave bags at resort and just check things out. ADR at T-rex at 3pm

Sunday – MK – plan to get there are rope drop and see and do as much as we can. ADr at ‘Ohana at 5:30 – plan to take boat over to Poly

Monday – HS – ADR at 8am at Hollywood and Vine – plan to get FP for TSM! and sign the boys up for JTA. Also want to see Disney Jr Live and Fantasmic. Have ADR ar Mama’s for 5:30 but may change this…not sure???

Tuesday – MK – check out what we missed on Sunday. ADR at Liberty Tree

Wednesday – AK – ADR at 8:10 at Tusker house – want to take in Safari and Nemo for sure

Thursday – back to MK – planning to make this a split day so we can see the MSEP and Wishes. Is this a good idea or should we just go in later and stay? Want to do Sorcerer’s today in am.

Friday – EP – want to do Agent P for sure and see as much as we can. ADR at Garden Grill at 5:45. Probably won’t see illuminations.

Saturday – home 

Our DS7 is tall and wants to do everything and our DS4 is tiny and won’t be able to so I am thinking this may cause some issues but I am trying to figure it all out. The only thing I really want to do is have lunch at BOG (can get ADR for dinner). Any help or tips will be appreciated.
Thanks!

You will want to get Rider Switch passes at any attraction that your 4-year-old isn't tall enough for. After first adult rides with 7-year-old, then second adult and 7-year-old can use the Rider Switch pass to enter the Fast Pass lane.

Height requirements:
Magic Kingdom:
Space Mountain (44")
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (40")
Splash Mountain (40")
Stitch's Great Escape (40")
Barnstormer (35")

Epcot:
Sum of All Thrills (48")
Mission Space (44")
Test Track (40")
Soarin (40")

Hollywood Studios:
Rock n Roller Coaster (48")
Tower of Terror (40")
Star Tours (40")

Animal Kingdom:
Primeval Whirl (48")
Expedition Everest (44")
Dinosaur (40")
Kali River Rapids (38")

Congrats on your trip! I'll be there a week or so after you!

I think your plan looks really good. My only comment would be I think you should try to see Illuminations. Everyone has their preferences, but it's my family's favorite fireworks.

Hope your trip is awesome!

Sounds like an amazing trip! I'm sure it will be an amazing trip!! Your plans took great too!

Day 1: good to take it slow, and the boys will love TRex, it's an awesome place to eat! Be sure to check out the lego store at DtD, they'll probably love that!

2:for your first day at MK, I would suggest getting over to BOG around 10:30 to line up for lunch, it will take a bit out of your day, but it will be well worth it (it opens at 11) This way with an earlier lunch, you'll be good to eat again at 5:30

3: Good call getting the FPs, I suggest also hitting up the pixar meet & greet, also Wreck it Ralph in the animation building. DHS is usually a good day to take a break in the middle for swimming, then come back for dinner & fantasmic

At animal Kingdom I suggest Festival of the Lion King, it's absolutely amazing. Also, dinosaur is loud, dark, and scary, heads up. Also, check out the wilderness explorer program they're starting in AK in Spring, it looks pretty awesome, and I'm sure the kids would enjoy it

Have a magical trip!!

We are there the same time. But we are empty nesters. Just remember you have 30+ disney years ahead of you. DOn't try to cram it all into one trip.

And enjoy the blooms at the Epcot Flower & Garden!!!

As for me, I'm going to sit thru as many Peter Noonan (Herman's Hermits) concerts as possible. I love FLOWER POWER!!!!!

OP, I would plan a break from the parks sometime in the afternoon each day. If you want to see Fantasmic, and the fireworks at MK & Epcot those are late and your Dss may be very tired at that point. Even if for 1 hour try to get them to rest in the afternoon.

When my grandkids were younger, they really enjoyed playing in the resort pool! :)

And yes, as the pp mentioned, put Festival of the Lion King on your list of must dos!

Thank you for all of the input. Since this is the boys first trip we want to do a lot but we don't want to get carried away either! They are good travelers and we know when enough is enough.

Another question...should I be checking the crowd calendars on UT or easywdw.com? Are these pretty accurate? They seem to discourage you from going when there are EMH?

Thanks!
