Trip Planning Books?

Are any of the books better than others? Some of the guide books have touring plans, has anyone used these? Do they work well? This is a first trip for my DW and I and we want to see as much as possible in the time that we will be there.

We always buy a Birnbaum book. It has a lot of good information in it. We mostly just like to look at it and get excited about our trip, though. I've heard a lot of people on these boards mentioned TourGuide Mike. That might be something you want to try. Maybe someone else can give you more information on TGM and other books.

Hi there! For our first trip this past August I bought Birnbaums, Fodors and Fromers Unofficial Guide. My favorite by far was Frommers. B.Baums had really nice pictures but b/c it is an "offical" guide it seems a little one sided...although they do have some coupons in the back. We only used one of them. They just don't really say anything negative about the park or give you a head's up on things like Frommers. Fodors is nice but short. Frommers is so great I bought it again for our June trip even though they don't differ that much from year to year. I took their touring plans with me and did use them but we went at such a slow time we didn't need them much. Their dining reviews are great too! Also check out allears.net for specific dining menus. Have fun..it can become obsessive!!
