Well, we are back..... But we had a great trip...and now DH wants to go to DL! So I should have some great TRs in the next year! The first night DH and I went up alone, and then his parents joined us the next day. It was supposed to be his whole family, but his brother's wife had to work, so they dropped out of the trip. So here's the background info, and I'll get the real TR going once I get my pictures on here.

Sept. 28 - DH and I left work early to start the drive down. We like to do most of the trip in one night, stop along the way, and then finish the next morning. It gives us most of the next day extra, instead of driving the entire day. MIL had to work late for parent/teacher conferences that night, so they couldn't leave until the next day. Dh and I left about 3pm and drove to Valdosta. Pretty uneventful evening, except for the insanely scary black cloud that passed in front of us. Luckily for us, we were just AFTER the storm, instead of in it because as we passed through the area that had just gotten it, the interstate was steaming all around so you could hardly see anything around, and the ground was COVERED in leaves and hail. Yikes! I was so glad we were a few minutes later. Other than that, we checked into our hotel at about 10pm or so, went to sleep and then got up to start all over. So we will start with Sept. 29 after we drove in....

Coronado Springs...I wasn't impressed with it. There wasn't anything wrong, I have just enjoyed others more.

So here we go....

Sept. 29 - We got up earlier than I wanted, had us a little breakfast in our hotel and headed out. Finally, around 12ish we reached Coronado Springs. It was nice enough, but man those love bugs were swarming! They are the weirdest little bugs that I mostly just laugh at them though. So we went to check in, it was insane with people everywhere, and our room was not ready yet. That meant, we would have to call a number later to get our room number. Fabulous. So off we went to the Contemporary for our 1:40 ADR at Concourse Steakhouse that I never thought we would have time to make.

We arrived around 1:15pm and parked ourselves. Then, we went to check in. It was EMPTY! I knew that we had one of the latest reservations before they closed to get ready for dinner, but wow! There was a HUGE line for Chef Mickey's, and Concourse had maybe 2 tables filled. So we were seated pretty quickly. It was fabulous by the way, but I'll do a dining report after I've finished this with more detail if you wanna know about the food. But the butterfinger cheesecake is to die for!!!! Anyway, the CM was really nice and talked to us about MNSSHP and stuff. Then we asked about the roof terrace to take pictures of the MK. She told us that the roof was only for Cal. Grill and the top floors you had to have key cards for. So she said to go down to the end to the smoking section outside and there were stairs. But also, that you could go up to she thought the 11th floor on the elevators. So we went up to the 11th floor, and walked to the smoking section outside. We got some really great pictures of Mk from there and then walked back down. As we walked down, I called to check on our room, and it wasn't ready yet. So we decided to head on over to Epcot to pick up our temporary DDE card and turn in our vouchers for our new APs.

29th continued -

DH had never ridden the monorail to Epcot, so he wanted to go that way instead of driving. So we got on the monorail. There was a kid behind us talking to their dad that cracked me up. "Dad, are you old enough to drive this thing?" The dad was like, well yeah, I'm old enough, but I don't think I have the training. :) So we got to Epcot and stood in line waving the love bugs away. We got our DDE card and our APs activated and were off. Of course as we stopped at MK to drop off people, we sat for like 15 min. Who knows what the problem was, but when we got back to the Contemporary everyone noticed a lot of ceiling tiles had fallen on the other side of the monorail, so we thought maybe they fell on the tracks and had to be cleaned off. :confused3 Not sure....We called the hotel number again and got our room number. Thank goodness!! We lugged all our stuff into the room, and cleaned out the cooler. There was a half of a wrap in there and all the melted ice had kinda made a puddle of mush...pretty gross. But we took everything out....of course logically, the lid should have been kept open to let it dry out, but DH apparently did not think of this, and just stuck it in the trunk....this will be a wonderful thing when it's time to leave. ;) By this point, I had a terrible headache and laid down for awhile while DH worked on his laptop and unpacked a little. We had MNSSHP tickets for that night, so we just rested a bit until about 4:30-5.

I decided to dress up as a pirate this year, but I knew people that were going to be at the Oct. 2 party, as well as DH's parents and decided they would like to see me dressed up. So, I chose to just wear my "spooktacular" shirt and headband with little springy witches on it. Pretty easy, and off we went. The CM at the entrance was like, what are you? A witch martian? Sure, why not. First things first, DH had to take pictures of the castle...and boy was I excited that the mirror was down!! I really didn't like that mirror. The castle looks as it should now (except when you get up close, then it's kinda funky cause the paint is several shades and shiny in some places. :rotfl: ). Then we headed straight for POTC per my demands. I think they should add Johnny Depp to every ride.....but then that's just me. Anyway, we rode Big Thunder next...I really love this ride. I hate hate hate roller coasters, but love Big Thunder Mountain. It's so fun...and it was a walk-on already, even though the party had not offically started yet. Of course, my headache wasn't entirely gone, and some of those jerks made it a bit worse. Then we went to HM...and we got stuck for at least 10 minutes in the ballroom scene. Now, normally we like getting stuck in this room, but it gets very repetitive, and it's LOUD. That off-key organ is so loud, plus the gun shots....oh man. I turned to DH and said, "It sure is good I didn't have a headache or anything." He laughed. And we sat and waited some more. Finally, we moved and everyone on the ride cheered. When we got off of HM, it was 7:00 and the party had officially started, so did a little trick-or-treating, including the trail along the back of Toontown and took pictures with characters. The first parade was at 8:15, so after we'd done our trick-or-treating and pictures, we headed back to Main Street for some Casey's. Yum yum!

On the way to Main Street, we had a couple cool things happen. First of all, they have these wierd characters in Tomorrowland that are alien-like and on stilts. They were out, so we stopped and looked at them and took pictures. Then, as we were crossing the bridge, DH wanted to stop and take pictures of the castle and while I waited, there was an older woman dressed as Tink meandering through the rose garden. It made me happy - first of all, seeing a little fairy in the garden was cute and made me happy, but also seeing it be an older, not so perfect looking Tink made me happy too. Here she was getting to be a pretty little fairy in WDW regardless of her age. This was one of my favorite moments on this trip. It made me feel good. I sat in a Main Street spot for the parade while DH went to get some food. I love this part of the Halloween party, because you get to see so many costumes just sitting on Main Street. My favorite this year was a family that was Mario Brothers - they had Mario, Luigi, a mushroom headed guy and a princess. It was so cute! Next to me while I waited was a cute kid dressed as Superman that started up a conversation with me about his superman toys at home too. He was really cute and entertained me for a bit. Then DH reappeared with our food. The best part about this parade was that I was not the cut-through person! EVERY TIME we sit down for the parades at WDW, I somehow am the person that everyone climbs over to get past the lines of people waiting. Always me. I got to laughing this time, because for the first time, it was the lady on the other side of DH. It was brilliant...not for her, but for me it was wonderful!! DH and I then ate our yummy corn dog bites and fries. For those of you who have not had Casey's, they have the BEST hot dogs and corn dog bites. Casey's is one of our traditions. While we were eating, we discussed costumes, and why some people choose to wear some of the things they wear, in addition to why they let their children wear some of the things they wear. :confused3 Oh well, it's their perrogotive(did I spell that right?). We kind of listened to the Villian show, but it was too far away to really see anything, so I tried to ignore it so I wouldn't want to go rush and see it. I really loved the villian show last year with the Big Bad Wolf as the DJ...it cracked me up. Unfortunately, as we waited, we also had an extremely rude family squeeze between us and the family next to us. There was barely room for a child, and the women pushed 2 into the spot...then after a minute, one of the mom's needed to feed her baby, so she pushed the children over more so she could sit and feed the baby, and somehow the other mom fit in their too. Where there had been barely enough room for 2 children, they fit 2 children, two adults, and a baby. The other family MUST have moved down to avoid being crushed, because we were by a trash can with no where to go. Plus, the grandfather with them was extremely loud and obnoxious, complaining about everything and having a conversation about thongs as he spit on those in front of him (me). Ahh, so magical. :rolleyes1 Anyway, the parade said expanded on the map so I was excited to see what was new - they added a pirate float with Jack Sparrow on top, and they added a new float for Goofy that pumps out a candy smell as it passes...oh yummy it smelled good!!!

After the parade, the fireworks were supposed to only be about 30-45 min. later, so we immediately found a spot standing in the middle of the road, which I hate, but DH insists on it for pictures. While we waited, there was some good old southern boys in front of us with their family that made us laugh, being from the south ourselves. One of the men kept teasing his family about a spider going up the side of the castle and apparently really scared them once and was just teasing them now. It was hysterical, but I don't think I could do it justice trying to type it out on computer. So.....we waited....and we waited....and it was 9:30 time to start, and we waited....and we waited....and FINALLY at 9:45 they started....and their lights on the castle were messed in one corner. DH didn't notice, but I am a theatre person, so I notice things like lighting and little details a little more sometimes. It was just all mixed up, like when it was supposed to be the Big Bad Wolf, it was a big blank circle of light, or when it was supposed to be Jafar, there was a circle of pattern, and when it should have been a pattern, it was the Big Bad Wolf. That sort of thing. Every time it changed it wasn't wrong, sometimes it was right, then it was wrong again, then it would be right a few times, then wrong. It was strange. I'm guessing that had something to do with why they were late, but who knows. It could have been something bigger than that.

After the fireworks, I was tired and pretty well ready to go back to the hotel. We were going to 2 parties on this trip and the agreeement was that we would not push ourselves our first night and be exhausted the whole trip because of it. Dh wanted to get a Dole Whip. We had never had a Dole Whip. So we walked to Adventureland....well, we attempted to walk, but it was more like waiting and wading and squeezing and barely making it through to anywhere. Did I mention how crowded this MNSSHP was?? It was sold out, which shouldn't mean much. We've been to several sold out parties before, but I think they sold more tickets this year...it was wild. So we get to Aloha Isle and I sit down. DH brings the messy, messy Dole Whips that are melting all over the place. They are an extremely refreshing snack. I felt a lot better after eating mine (part of mine). While I was eating, I sort of dug out a hole, as they are hollow inside. And I said "Enter the Cave of Wonders" in my best scary voice. DH was like, what?? Explaining jokes like that take away a lot from the humor....oh well. Then I tried to take pictures, but they didn't come out very well. Then DH tore it apart to eat some of mine. Oh well....it was funny in my head anyway. ;) DH wanted to try to catch the Headless Horseman again, so we were going to wait a little bit and try to get a picture again before we left. While we were right there beside it, we walked through the Adventureland Candy Trail thing. Then we went to find a spot to see the HH. Once we had done that, we started to leave, and DH wanted to take pictures from the Train Station, so we went up there. As we walked up, 2 people got up from their seats and decided to go somewhere else, so we ended up with seats, so of course, DH wanted to stay for the parade. While we waited, the CMs with carts paraded through ahead of the actual parade. They danced and sang and waved and had a good old time. A couple older CMs were dancing too from their positions on the sides of the street. It was cute. Then we watched the parade up to the pirate float I think, then rushed out to beat the crowds. We took the monorail back to our car, and went to bed!

I leave for New York in the morning until Sat. so I'm going to attempt to get more done on this today. I'm just not sure how much time I'll have to do it. So if not, I'll be back on here by Sunday! Thanks for reading!

Great Report ! popcorn::

Wouldn't it be great if Disney made you take a little test on parade and ride etiquette before you could buy a ticket? Question #1 Could be :

When someone is seated on the sidewalk waiting for a parade, and has obviously staked out this spot for quite some time while you were off riding rides you should-
A. Step on their hands walking over them
B. Squeeze your children into the two inches between them and their husband, or better yet put your kids in their lap, after all WDW is for kids.
C. Stand behind them and realize that if you want to sit on the curb you need to plan ahead , wait patiently, and not ride stuff up until 3 minutes before the parade starts.

If you fail the test ... no ticket! Oh wait, too many people would fail and Disney would go broke. Never mind. :( Sorry - Just one of my pet peeves. You spend so much time trying to explain proper behavior to your kids only to have them see the rude people pushing the patient people off the curb at WDW

Anyway - Can't wait to hear more! :)

:rotfl: Nice....I like it. We were amazed at how rude the adults were on this trip...they seem to be getting worse. I understand wanting your children to see things, but hey, I'm a short person that is often blocked by your making sure your child can see. And please, don't use your child as an excuse to get yourself closer....oh well. That's life. :thumbsup2 Nice test though.

Sept. 30 - The plan today was to leave for MK about 8:30ish. DH's parents had arrived the evening before and we had adjoining rooms, so we were just gonna knock when we were ready. Well, it was more like 9-ish before we were up and ready, but we had some issues - lukewarm water being one of them, and kind of a lukewarm fridge to be the other. I had this wonderful idea to bring my yogurt smoothies that I drink every morning...they made it through the cooler barely I think since all the ice was melted, and now were kinda runny due to the lack of cold in the fridge. I called maintenance to tell them the two problems, and they acted quite unmagical. They ignored the shower one and told me that it was not a "fridge" but a "cooler" and it should be on the #4 to cool. So I hung up and said, "Funny, but I'm pretty sure in all the information about these hotels, they say 'FRIDGE'". Anyway...so we put it on 4 and went about our business. (I actually later decided that was absurd and put it back up to 6, which then turned everything nice and icy...ice pieces in water after a hot day in the parks is quite pleasant!)

So once we got to the monorail, DH and I had the first of several tired arguments through the trip - you know the kind....it's the i-haven't-had-enough-sleep-and-no-time-alone-it's-hot-and-i'm-cranky kind of fights. This time it was over the monorail...I thought we should try the resort monorail because it had no line, whereas the MK one had a crazy long long line. He disagreed, but did it my way. I think he did it my way just so he could gloat when he was right. Of course, 2 MK monorails came in the time we waited for ours, and we would have easily been on one sooner.....yet this was never given as a reason for taking the other...he never said, "no, let's take the MK because they send them more often and we will easily get on one quickly." Just wanted to argue with no reason. So...I was wrong...great start to the day.

So once we got inside we saw Clarabelle, and is it Horace? Someone was just asking about them and they are kind of rare to see out, so I stood in line for them. Of course, they stopped the line 2 people in front of us, and I didn't want to wait. We had sent MIL and FIL ahead to get Peter Pan FPs while we waited, so I just took some photos of the characters themselves and we went on meet DH's parents. The plan was, meet for Astro Orbiter....I had never ridden this ride, and DH doesn't do spinning rides. So when his parents are there, I try to get her on the kiddie rides with me. Our meeting spot was the little green men between Buzz and the TTA entrance, so we got there and waited. The HS Musical Pep Rally was going on, so I sang and danced a little while we waited. :rolleyes1 Then they finally showed up and we got in line. While we waited for them to appear, the wait time for Astro Orbiters went up from 5 min. to 10 min. Argghh...that's frustrating to watch while just waiting. The wait really wasn't 10 min. though...so we got up the elevators and MIL kind of laughed at the "kiddie ride"...I took some pictures from up there, we attempted to get buckled in, but there was only one seatbelt, so we kind of wrapped it around both of us a little. Then it started...man that little ride goes fast!! I tried to get pictures while spinning, but NO WAY. It slides you to the sides with amazing pressure, and there were no clear pictures coming out from that spin! Once it was done we had some trouble trying to get out of the little seat, but we made it with lots of laughing and went down to do Buzz.

sounds like a very very busy time........We got stuck on PoC at the bridge where the hairy leg is over the edge.......and all we heard was yo ho yo ho over and over and over again.......even the college kids on this boat with us were SICK OF IT.......where ever any one gets stuck is a pain after fifteenth moment.
Thanks for taking the time for a great report.......

I would like to ask to ride up front on the monorail some day.....maybe in December......sometimes they do stop the monorail while they get rid of a few of the backloads of the other ones....I am not fond of stopping in midair.....something about heights.....rofl
Thanks again

Sorry for the delay, but after 2 weeks of trips, the adjustment to work again kept me off the disboards this week. Here we go again...

Sept. 30 continued - The wait for Buzz was only about 10 min., so we started in that direction. As we were going, we saw Stitch, and he is a character I have not met before, so I got my picture with him first. Then we waited for Buzz. DH beat me - AGAIN. I beat him once...I maxed out the score....but I have never beat him again. Grr.... By this time, our FP for Peter Pan was already good. We went to PP, which I LOVE. It's one of those rides that just makes me happy...that and IASW. ( I know, I know, I must be crazy, but I love that little happy song and their perfect little costumes!) Speaking of...that's what we did next. IASW had like a 5 minute wait, so we went to that next. I finally got some great pictures of it! I was so excited!

We planned to get a FP for BTMR on our way to each lunch by this point. It was around 11. But once we got to BTMR, the wait was only 5 minutes. Well, we couldn't pass that up. We convinced MIL that it wasn't that bad and she should ride it too, so off we went. She spent the entire ride with her head buried in FIL's shoulder as we all laughed hysterically. I really didn't think it would bother her - I HATE roller coasters and the feeling of losing your stomach. And I LOVE BTMR. So I figured it would be fine for her too. Oh well...the rest of us enjoyed it. DH decided he wanted to eat at Pecos Bill's since we never had and the things we've heard about it were good. Here's a tip though - If you don't use the things that are on the wonderful toppings bar, this place is no different from any other! :rotfl: We don't put any of the special toppings on our burgers anyway, so it was kind of wasted on us! But it was fine...good burgers, and the yummy peanut butter mouse brownie dessert thing was quite tasty!

After lunch, we decided to go for POTC, but it had a 30 min. wait. We have been to WDW enough now that we are spoiled by low wait times. We have learned that if you come back at another time on most rides you can find shorter wait times. (Now, this does not work on the big ones, like Soarin'...that wait will only get longer. But rides like POTC, it will.) So we did not do POTC at this time. (Any Princess Bride fans out there hear the grandfather say that line in their heads like I did??) As we walked through Adventureland, we decided to do the Tiki Room, which we had never seen yet. This was the trip of firsts! The Tiki Room cracked me up! It was so funny the songs that those birds came out with. :) Once that was over, we decided to go check on POTC again since we were close, and we caught the new Pirate Training! It had JUST started, Mack was putting the rope down. Oh my goodness, that show is so funny. Mack is hilarious! We really enjoyed this show. When it was over, we high-tailed it to POTC before everyone else in the group decided to do the same. The wait time still said 30 min., but we knew it looked much shorter than that. It actually took us exactly 15 min. to get on a boat. Not bad! And more Jack Sparrow... :goodvibes

After the ride, we looked around the shop some. I saw a shirt the other night that I wanted, so I bought it this time. We saw Wendy and Peter, which were also characters I had not met, so I got my picture made with them. Then we split up from DH's parents.

DH and I went back towards the castle to take pictures around the rose garden, etc. Then we headed out of the park. But DH decided we should stop in the Main Street Bakery for a snack, which we had never done! What a WONDERFUL first that was! We got the yummiest crumb cake and sugar cookie. Oh wow, it was good! :thumbsup2 (We need a smilie that licks it's lips.) Then we took our leftovers with us and headed back to the hotel. We decided that we would take the ferry back, because...you guessed it - we never had before! So we did! It was quite nice and peaceful and pretty. Then we stopped to get gas at the Hess station before resting in the room for awhile.

I'm glad you came back and updated your report. I wondered about Peco Bills C.s. Where you guys on the dining plan?

Nope...we never eat enough to get much out of it.

Sept. 30 continued -
We rested for awhile in the room until about 4:30. MIL loves the Pooh characters, so I had planned CP for dinner on their first night. We had an ADR at 5:15, and we were pushing it to get there and check in by 5 (which was when we planned to meet back up). We headed for the monorail, and got there a little later than planned. We were rushing in, and they were doing the flag retreat! We have never caught this before, and we really wanted to see it, but we were late. The band was starting to play and everything...it was REALLY cool, and I wanted to see it. But I let DH stay and take pictures while I went on to CP to check in. (Such a good wife, I know. )

I checked in, and we only had about 10 min. wait, so we got in pretty much right on time. CP is always great food, and has always for us been great with the characters. This time, the characters seemed to be skipping our table. Their rotation was a little odd...they didn't seem to be doing what the server said they would, so we only saw Tigger by the time we were done eating. Piglet was standing in the middle, not walking around, so we got our pictures with him as we left. This is the first time we've ever eaten at a character meal and not seen all the characters...I'm not sure what was up with their rotation today. Oh well. :confused3

We decided to split up again and meet at 8:15 to find a spot for the parade together. I think DH picked something boring like "Liberty Square" and I insisted that it had to be something more detailed and interesting...so I chose the guillotine instead. :teeth: And off we went.

Dh of course took some more pictures first thing. We planned to ride the railroad, since it's been a couple years since we've ridden it. But then we decided we didn't feel like it, and the new stage show was about to start! I really wanted to see it, so DH walked around to take more pictures while I sat down to wait. Then he wandered back in time for the show. Dreaming Along with Mickey is my favorite castle show I've seen. I thought it was really cute, and the costumes were pretty, and it had a great variety of characters. I really enjoyed it! Then we headed around to Fantasyland to check on Pooh...I really love bouncing with Tigger. It makes me giggle like a 5 year old everytime. But it had a 30 min. wait, so we decided to try later. Then all of a sudden, it hit us. We had not ridden TTA yet! And that decided it....ahhh...the calm, peaceful, happy ride that is TTA. It really is one of our favorites. :cloud9:

After that nice ride, we tried to get to Buzz again, but the wait was 30 min. too, and we weren't going to have enough time by now. Dh took more pictures on our walk to Adventureland. Jungle Cruise had a long line too, so I begged to do Shrunken Ned's....let me remind you of my 5 yr. old behavior on Pooh at this point....I LOVE Shrunken Ned's. Dh thinks I'm insane. :teeth: I begged, DH said no, I begged some more, Dh laughed and said no, I begged some more until he finally gave me a dollar to get coins. Woohoo! :dance3: So I motored my little boat around for a few minutes, and I was happy.

It was almost time to meet up with FIL and MIL anyway, so we headed over to Liberty Square. They were already there, so we sat on the planter to the side, and then MIL and I went off to get some drinks. This is important because apparently, putting a cold, perspiring drink next to your feet is a bad thing sometimes...as in this case where I got eaten alive for the next few minutes. Just me though...and once I moved the bottle, it stopped. Man was I itchy! We watched Spectromagic, which was beautiful as always, except for CM that wanted to stand in the middle of the road the whole time, so he's in all our pictures. Then we went to Main Street to get a spot for Wishes. After the fireworks (which for the first time, did not make me cry...I'm quite upset about this by the way. I don't want to lose the magic!!!) we went and rode Jungle Cruise. We had never ridden it in the dark yet, and DH was dying to. So we did, and it was fun - well, fun for Jungle Cruise anyway...not one of my favorites. POTC was still long, so we just took some more pictures and headed out. For some strange reason, I was starving, and wanted a hot dog...it's like all I could think about, was eating a hot dog, but I didn't want to get all full just before going to bed, so I didn't get one...we just went back to the hotel and I ate a little snack there before bed.

Enjoying your report so far. DH and I were at the 9/29 MNSSHP also. We thought it was very crowded but still had a good time.

Where in TN are you? We're in Knoxville.

We're in Murfreesboro, although we have family all over, including Knoxville.

I'm really sorry guys. I'm taking much longer to write this than I planned...thanks for waiting it out! :)

Oct. 1 - We planned to leave the hotel around 9 am, and we had warm water and the fridge was now working like a freezer. Woohoo! So we actually left around 9:20 for Epcot. We immediately went to get a Soarin FP and then went to check on Test Track. It was only a 10 min. wait, so we went on and rode it. MIL and FIL were looking forward to this. The last time they came with us, FIL was only a few months past open heart surgery and didn't get to ride it. They were glad to get to ride again, and enjoyed it. It was almost 10:30 by this time, and we were starting to get a little hungry and thirsty. This was a pretty hot day already. So we convinced them to stop in Club Cool to try Beverly. They didn't react much...kinda ruined it a little, but oh well. I guess that's what you get for trying to trick nice people into trying gross things. And my favorite wasn't working this time. It was time for our FP already, so we headed over to Soarin, and were in the top row, which is the best by the way. This was when the new Celebration beginning day began to be obvious. They announced a family that was riding "First Class". After Soarin' we headed over to the Land to check out the "changes". I think the recording is actually better than the real people. It's much easier to understand what they say. Other than that, I think it's the same speed and everything. Then we split up again.

As we left DH and I had a Maelstrom discussion (Maelstrom is a fastpass??!) and he was like, one of these days someone will hear us say that. That's a dead-giveaway we're from the disboards! And I responded that I really want to see someone else wearing the shirt with the big viking horns on it. :rotfl:

Then we headed on to the World Showcase. We looked at some of the food places and then found one of the Festival booklets that told all the food. Then we backtracked some to Greece and got some yummy food. We strolled around the WS taking pictures and such. In Japan, I stopped to look in the shops, because I love them. And I FINALLY found the side section that has the pick-a-pearl! I've been wondering where it was for years, and this time I found it! Of course, it also happened to be closed for the next hour...so alas, still no pearl for me. We stopped in Germany to buy the Gummi-Colas and then continued around. We passed MIL and FIL on our way to China for more food. More yummy snacks. Then on to Norway and Malstrom. It had 5 min. posted, we really probably needed a fastpass, but chose to wait instead. We literally walked straight on...there were like 5 other people in front of us. :thumbsup2

Then we decided that we would go straight through WS and back to the hotel to rest and then when we came back we would start with Mexico. As we started to leave, we remembered Mission Space had the new Green side, so we stopped in to do that. It was soooooo much nicer than the original version! I'm still not majorly excited about it as a ride, but it was less hurl-inducing, and almost fun. Then we left to rest.

Oct. 1 continued - As we got to the hotel, DH was just as exhausted as I was and really needed a nap. However, he instead became obsessed with his new camera and the fact that there was a speck of dust in his photos. So, he decided to take apart the brand new as-expensive-as-this-trip camera and try to clean it himself. Which in turn, made him scratch the view finder piece. And caused major stress and panic through our entire "rest". Finally, he chilled out and fixed as much as could be fixed and we were off by 4pm for our 4:40 ADR at Garden Grill. We arrived at 4:30 and checked in.....then, we recieved our first "dream" from the new celebration. But I'm a bit sick this morning, and just realized I don't have the energy required to really tell you all about it yet....so I'll be back! Sorry....but that was a nice teaser I guess. :)
