Your trip is so close Shelly! Do you mind if I stow away in your luggage by chance?! I have the Dis blues something fierce. I finally got my PP pictures yesterday and I cried while looking through them. Boo.

you should make him chicken noodle soup of course sometimes the hot liquid will help sore throat's not mine but the kids and my hubby swear by it.hope your boy is better soon our trip is at christmas time and my hubby is sick and I told him he has 17 days to get bettero here is some pixie dust just in case

Maybe I will make him some soup tonight!

What have you been doing all day?

I got the hair did, (I know that isn't proper English but it sounds so dang funny to say) then went to the grocery store and got GF protein bars and granola.

My hair lady said What is wrong with you today, you're so quiet.


The whole time she was doing my hair I was thinking about everything I could be doing instead.

He's about the same. Hanging in there. Still bored!

He wanted toast with jelly for lunch. Ended up being pretty hard to swallow. I think I'll make him soup for dinner, but I'm afraid it will burn his throat.

He did enjoy a nice big red popcycle this afternoon though!

Didn't do a whole lot today. Luckily DS11's teacher already gave him his work for next week, so we were able to work on that some. Did some laundry & cleaning. That's about it.

How did your hair turn out? Do you like it??? You didn't go several shades darker like I did last week did you??

5 DAYS til vacation and DS11 has strep!!

That's awful! I sure hope he gets over it very quickly (did he get a shot?) and no one else gets it.

Believe it or not, neither of my kids ever had strep in their lives. So I don't know how easily it is spread.

I know you didn't do what Kate Gosselin did - she put one of her kids (who had a stomach virus) on the floor of the laundry room, so the others wouldn't catch it and to keep from having a mess in the rest of the house.

Well you know me and how I like to do something drastic to my hair right before vacation!! Sometimes I get 12 inches cut off, this time I changed the color - a lot!! Maybe you won't even recognize me!

Yes, at least he got this now and not next week. Lucky there. Now if the rest of us could just stay healthy...

No strep, or ear infections either. I know, crazy! Keri may have had one ear infection when she was a toddler, but that's it. When they got sick, it was usually a stomach virus.
