Well we are back! WE had an amazing time in SoCal! And DisneyLand was just ... Wow Fantastic!!! We just loved it!

Anyway, I just wanted to thank everyone on the DL boards for the advice and help leading up to our trip. It was probably a one-shot for us ( not that I would EVER be against going again ) as we are east-coasters with a Beach Club DVC home resort. So now begins planning for next year's WDW trip....

Thanks again!

Glad to hear you had a fantastic time at my favorite place ever :wizard: Someday I hope to visit WDW & if so I will venture over to that part of the Dis for planning help :thumbsup2

Glad you had fun! We live in Phoenix so Disneylands our 'hometown' park as we've been there dozens of times. But we've been to WDW enough times to know the ins and outs almost as well. Love both but us adults prefer WDW because of dining, resorts and other activities outside the parks. But the kids prefer Disneyland.

I think there are definite pros and cons to either. Walking distance to "everything" is certainly a huge plus at Disneyland. And I don't find there is shortage of dining. But I agree, especially with EPCOT, dining at WDW is much more varied.

Like I said, I would go to DL again in an instant. If only it wasn't SO FAR for us...

Glad you had fun! And thanks for being so postive!

When Disneyland is in our own backyard, we get touchy! :)

Come back again if you can.

Glad you had a great time! I too have DLR in my backyard but we have managed to go to WDW at least 14 times in the past 10-11 years. We love both, for different reasons.

I'm know the resident expert on both parks and my DS and her DH are going to WDW in May for their 30th anniversary (they know better than to go in July, their actual anniversay) and I am imparting all my wisdom on them. My DS has been once before, my DH never.

Hope you have a chance to return to DLR one day. Maybe after Carsland opens? I'm so looking forward to that!:goodvibes Can't wait to ride the car ride that is similar to TT. That's one of our favs.
