Trip Insurance..yes or no????

So many scary stories - glad I didn't read these before my cruise.
One point I didn;t see is the fear of sick kids. Seems that my kids get a fever or other simple illness at the worst time - and I feared our luck would hold - even on the criuse I feared someone might get the dreaded throw-ups and be restricted to the cabin. All those events would have needed insurance - plus, as someone else mentioned, access free kids policy is SO cheap (one of the few benefits for single parents I have ever found). Our insurance was $62. Best $62 I never needed. I slept well.
Good luck

After considering it carefully, we decided against the insurance.

Why?

We're young and healthy, and we don't plan any sports-type excursions during our cruise. for us right now.

Never think that young and healthy is immune from anything - our seven year old daughter was killed while we were waiting in traffic and although in the backseat of the car and seatbelted, she died.
Young and healthy.

Also think about the others in your lives that an illness, accident or death would impact on your vacation plans.

As a young person, I always thought I would be immune to anything - but as I aged, I realized that was the case. My 23 year old son has the same attitude - "I'm young and healthy!" so this isn't the first time I've put in my two cents on this topic!

Absolutely, do what you feel is best for you - but do consider the cost of insurance being minimal to the advantages.
