Has anyone had any experience in purchasing trip insurance to cover a DVC points stay when the points were transferred points? I talked to MS earlier today, and the Travelex policy directly through DVC would only cover my contracts' points, not those transferred into my account from another member (unless that member had insured them prior to them being transferred).
I have 2 2BR reserved next month at Kidani, and family members staying in one of the units really want to buy trip insurance. Both units were booked using transferred points from another member. My family contacted Travelex directly, and were told they would not insure them. Any other companies out there that might?
I don't have much time to research this issue myself, so appreciate any and all input. TIA!
