We are renting DVC points for our stay in November. I'd like to get trip insurance. Does anyone have any experience with this? What company did you use? We are first time renters. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks so much!

I used travel guard (recommended by David's DVC Rental where I rented the points from). It was under $60 for a $1500 trip. I only insured the points/hotel portion of the trip. I used the Hawaiian airlines insurance for the flights.

Many insurance companies will not cover a timeshare rental, so check plans thoroughly. We always buy trip insurance mainly for flight cancellation, missing luggage and medical evacuation, which can get very expensive.
