Home late last night. Sad it's over but happy to get a proper cup of tea!
Highs
Character Interaction - We had wonderful interaction at the hotel with Goofy, at our character meals with Smee, Eeyore, Ariel and Sleeping Beauty, and on the street with Main St USA Residents.
DS2's reactions - especially on the first day. He was so excited to see the castle and all the characters. he loved waving at everyone in the parade.
Walking down Main St USA - nothing beats that feeling!
Swing into Spring - I absolutely adored 'Welcome to Spring' and 'Spring Promenade'. Fabulous energy, costumes, music and dancing.
Our meals - we didn't have a single bad one. We were very happy with all our choices. Yes we spent a lot of money on them, but it was worth it. Blue Lagoon is a new favourite for us.
Crowds and queues - apart from Dumbo on Sunday, we didn't queue for longer than half an hour for any ride and had lots of walk-ons
Buzz Lightyear's Laser Blast - This was the boys' favourite ride and we went on it every day. We made good use of Fastpass here, and also on BTM.
Meeting Spiderman - The boys were totally starstruck! Was very cute! Spiderman was great with them though, got down to their level and chatted to them (bit of a one-sided conversation! Weather - we had lovely sunny weather on our first two days and on our last afternoon
Hotel New York - really happy with this hotel. The location is fantastic. We were late every morning for our breakfast slot but it was fine. Breakfast did look busy after 9am but we were never later than that. They have wifi in the rooms which is great.
Middles
DS2 being scared of anything dark or fast! I was really surprised at this as he's usually so fearless. However, he didn't mind waiting outside a ride while DS1 went on with one of us.
Toilets - The toilets in Fantasyland, beside Chalet de la Marionette, were horrible. Very smelly. All the others were fine.
Lows
The rain! We're not great people for wet weather (despite living in Ireland!). We weren't prepared enough for it.
Queues in the Studios - we had a few issues there; nothing major but still a bit annoying.
Water prices - We paid €10 for a litre of water in Inventions on our first day. It really annoys me to have to pay so much for such a basic thing! After that we were a bit wiser!
