Trip for 5 in December

My friends and I are planning a birthday trip for my stepsister and I in December of 2016. We're planning on staying the 17-23 and want to go for as cheaply as possible. Would it be in my best interest to do a bounce back rate in February when I go? We want to have dining and tickets done when we get down there. Other than that, what are some money saving tips for us?

You can always call and ask *if* a bounceback rate is available for the time you're thinking of going in Dec. There is no guarantee they will be offering a BB rate. I know that when I was there in Feb 2013 for the Princess Half, I called to see if I could book a BB for my birthday trip, which I was planning to start on 12/31. Of course, the holiday season was blacked out.

And even if you book the BB rate, you can always call and change if a better deal comes along, or cancel if you can book cheaper through a third party.

If you book a package with tickets and DDP far in advance, the good thing is you'll be insulated from price increases that may happen between Feb and Dec.

If you're looking to do it on a budget, you'll probably want to book Riverside or CBR, which are Mods that have a 5-person occupancy. Price check Contemporary, Poly, GF, BC/YC, BW also - they also have rooms for 5.
