Trip for 2012- Disneyland hotel

Hi everyone,
Looking forward to planning our Disneyland trip for September 2012. We will be in San Diego for a week and convinced DH to spend a few days at disneyland too!! YAHOO! I really want to stay at Disneyland hotel and was looking for reviews on here to see if it is worth it...any help would be great...my DDs will be 5 and 3 at the time.....When can I start booking things?

They won't open 2012 reservations until they announce 2012 pricing. This probably won't happen until late summer.

If you aren't aware the Disneyland Hotel is undergoing a full remodel. It will be done by 2012. New rooms are getting great reviews. New pool is sure to be great. I'm sure you and the kids will love the pool. But will you be into swimming on this part of the trip?

I think DLH has really increased their value with the remodel, as long as current prices stay somewhat the same.

I too am planning a trip to Disneyland 2012 for late July. I too am a planner and want to make sure we get the best deals. I have never been to WDW just Disneyland but this trip in July 2012 will be for my daughters 3rd birthday and my entire family will be coming! I'm waiting for Disney to announce all their deals for 2012, cannot wait! I have been looking at all the re-models. My DH and I are planning on going to the new tiki bar at the Disneyland hotel, looks really cool!
