We ended up adding an extra day to our trip because the flight was over $1000 cheaper! So I had to adjust all our ADRs, but I got everything I wanted at the times I wanted! :cool1: We are travelling with my 2 and 3 year old. Here is what I have ADRs for.

Saturday, May 31: Chef Mickey’s (D) 6:25PM
Sunday, June 1: Crystal Palace (B) 8:05AM
Tony’s Town Square (D) 5:00PM
Monday, June 2: Tusker House (B) 9:00AM
Tuesday, June 3: Ohana’s (B) 8:30AM
LeCellier (D) 4:20PM
Wed., June 4: Hollywood & Vine(L) 12:15PM
Thursday, June 5: Liberty Tree Tavern(D) 4:05PM
Friday, June 6: 1900 Park Fare (B) 10:10AM

I went with the DDP. We will be there 6 nights and will have 6TS and 6CS (x3) I plan on paying for 3 breakfast TS OOP (Total is ~$150). The 6TS more than pay for DDP.

I know there are a lot of breakfast TS, but that is the only meal my children actually eat. They like breakfood better and are usually hungry then. They pretty much only pick at lunch and dinner.

Do you think that is just too many TS for young kids? I personally thought it would be a nice break for them. We eat out ALOT at home, so they are used to it.

Do you think I can fit in my 6 CS meals in there? I was thinking the days I have breakfast and dinner ADRs we probably won't need lunch more than a snack, don't you think?

Also, how soon before the reservation can I cancelled. Like if Thursday night I realize we have a bunch of CS let can I cancel that last breakfast the the night before so we can use up counter service?

None of your ADRs are guaranteed with a credit card, right? So you can cancel any time before the reservation time with no problem. Just call 407 wdw dine and tell them which one(s) you want to cancel.

I found my kids (older than yours) required the same 3 meals at WDW that they were used to eating at home. Even if they at a large breakfast, they still needed a "real" lunch- a snack didn't necessarily cut it. My husband and I were fine w/ a pretzel or something but they wanted a "meal" at "mealtime" or their days were ruined. Watch your kids and let them be your guides.

Be prepared to sit down with them for lunch even if YOU aren't hungry at all.

The only thing I'd suggest is that you look at the menu at allearsnet.com or this site to see what you might order at Tony's. You may find that could be a cheaper meal than one of your breakfast buffets for an OOP deal...especially after having a buffet that am.

We just got back from WDW and found that we like to use TS for breakfast. We are pickey eaters and found we had trouble ordering from the dinner menus. Also, the kids were so wrapped up in the days events that they hated to take the time for TS for dinner. We had two 4yr olds. We found that we only needed to meals a day. If we didn't have and ADR for the morning we ate a bowl of cereal or bagel in the hotel room before heading out ate a early lunch and then dinner. If we had an ADR for breakfast the kids were happy with a snack and an early dinner. I found we were too busy to think about eating. I kept cheese & crackers or p.b. & crackers with me at all times in case anyone got a rumbly in their tumbly before it was time to eat. Seem to work well for us.popcorn::
