Trip Cancellation Insurance?

What are the pros and cons of using Disney's insurance option vs using allianz or travelex for example?
Have you had any experiences having to make reservation changes and or claims? Does using the Disney provider make it easier than the others?

The only time I have had to use it on a Disney trip was way back in Nov 2002, when having to get surgery made us have to shift our trip a month further out, from Oct to Nov, and the move was made smoothly with the insurance, no problems (at the time flights were also covered under the insurance, so everything was shifted together.) I always try to get it since then on every trip.
