Hi fellow Canadians,
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on who to use to get
travel insurance? This would be for trips to WDW and also for another trip with a cruise. I don't yet have any and am thinking it is something I should consider. Not sure where to even start! I know the US residents have some options but not sure what is best for Canadians. If applicable, I am in Ontario.
Since we love to travel and were paying crazy prices on "per trip" travel insurance we started to shop around. We found the our Bank of Montreal Mastercard had a Travel insurance option that was fantastic.
we both have Medical coverage through our jobs so we don't purchase that. We have a yearly policy ..that covers everything besides medical ie : trip cancellation, inturuption , loss luggage etc... we pay $69 a year (I think) for our family. That covers unlimited trips up for 31 days in length. the only stipulation is that you have to book your trip using your mastercard. Here's what on the Web about it...it renews automatically each year! Can't beat the price of it!
