Hi! First time poster. This looks like a great website.

We last went to Disneyworld the year before Animal Kingdom was open. Not really sure of the year. This time, we will be going down just before Easter for just 3 nights. I figure just 2 days in the park is reasonable.

We have one day left on 5 day hopper passes for all 5 of us. We want to enjoy the parks but hit the stuff that is new since then. Any advice?

Also, I'd like to go to Animal Kingdom, but when we bought the hopper pass they warned us that it won't work for that place. Do you think there is any chance it will work? I guess that is a stupid question.

While we can't wait to go, we want to do too much. I'd like to go to Blizzard Beach again, as well as Universal, which we've never been to. We also want to go to the Hoop de Doo Review.

I have a wife and 3 kids, 11 thru 14. Boys. Thanks!:bounce:

You are going at one of the busiest times of the year. Even if you were going off season, two days isn't enough to even hit the highlights in all four parks.

If you are determined to only go to the parks for two days, then I would pick two parks and only do those two parks.

Get a guide book (I like the official guide, but that's just me; I need the pictures!) and decide what your must dos are for the parks you select.

My real advice would be to rethink your plan and give your family more time in the parks. To try and squeeze in so much in two days just seems like a wasted trip.

JMHO...

You went last about 7 years ago (AK opened in 1998). There is a lot that has changed and a lot of new stuff at the parks. I honestly don't think that you would be able to do it all with the crowds that are there at Easter time. Maybe you would be better off concentrating on a park or two.

I agree with getting the guidebook (they have a lot of them at the library around me). You can then target certain attractions, and with the help of fast passes and the possibility of skipping a lot of things, you will be able to have a whirlwind of a trip and see a lot of new stuff!

Welcome to the Dis Thdave. OK, I'm doing this from memory but some of the more recent additions include Mickey's Philharmagic and Buzz Lightyear at MK, Test Track and Mission Space at Epcot,
Rock N Roller Coaster and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Play It at the studios. There are more, but this is a start, and they are all big fun. Have a great trip:earsboy:

 Welcome to the Dis thdave!

I would read these boards like crazy and get a good plan for the things you want to see and do. With a short period of time to work with you need to get the biggest bang for your buck! Also remember to make some priority seatings for meals. That time of year is very busy. I've been for a couple of days before and you can really pack in a lot if you go like crazy. Maybe you could plan another trip soon and do the things you don't have time for this trip. :D

THDave,

With boys 11 and 14 two park days will never be enough. I'd skip BB this time. Someday when you take a long trip to Disney you can hit a water park. Until then, find a water park near home to go to. This gives you 3 days at Disney. I'd (regretfully) skip WS at Epcot except for eating. While there are great things there, boys those ages will probably find it boring and want to see other things in the park.

If you're staying on site take advantage of EMH. AK is not a full day park. With careful planning, use of EMH, good use of FP, you could finish AK by 2:00-3:00 pm. Then, you could hop to another park.

Good luck.
