We went to Disneyland last week. We live in Utah where the usual low temp is only 20. We drove, so we brought the winter coats. (The kids wanted them at rest stops where it was 10 degrees.) We got to Anaheim in the afternoon when it was 71 degrees. One child said it was a good thing she only packed short sleeved shirts. I brought some long sleeved shirts and I was comfy wearing my shirt and no sweatshirt. The kids went swimming. We went to the beach one day. It was lovely weather. I saw a bunch of people wearing shorts. It did get a bit chilly at night- enough for me to wear a sweatshirt and a few kids to shiver (while eating dinner). Dh only had a t-shirt on. He's one of those well padded and heated kind of guys. I'm more on the cold end. One day it rained. The ponchos were warm enough- or too warm, but our shoes leaked. We walked around all day with soaked socks, shoes, and cuffs of the pants. It was very uncomfortable and we retired early. I'd recommend some rain footgear if it should rain.

Brrrr........ I can't imagine living where it is that cold.

Being from a much colder climate, shorts might be okay during the day for you but it is a little chilly in the morning and evening. I personally would go with pants and short sleeved t-shirts and a sweatshirt. I would probably want a some sort of coat or jacket in the evenings too but not sure if you "cold weather people" would think that was necessary. Have a great trip!

We are from ND, and just visited DLR in January. I found it to be quite nice really. The evenings were a little chilly, but nothing like what we're used to!! A zippered hoodie worked great for the day (even took it off one day!) and a light jacket over top at night. We were quite comfortable the entire trip.
No need for shorts for us though. Too cool for that! We also never had time to swim.
Good luck and have FUN! Its so nice to get away from all this snow and cold!
