Tried to make a "Countdown Window"

I thought I did everything correctly but I only ended up with a line of "smilies"...I wanted the smilies to symbolize the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival that I'll be going to on October 1.

Does anyone have more specific instructions for me so I can make a counter like so many of you have in your signatures?

cut and paste the script into your signature.
